Have dined at Olive Garden in many states and have always had a pleasant experience. However, that was not the case at this one. One of us ordered a meal and one ordered the soup and salad. The salad and bread sticks were brought out and a little later the meal was brought out and the waiter informed me that they were out of the soup order and would be making more and it would be a few minutes. A few minutes passed and by the time the meal was finished, the waiter told us the soup would be a few more minutes. I told her to forget it being that one of us had already eaten. She should have informed me of the soup being out during our orders.

Me & my family went to the Richmond, KY Olive Garden on 2/11/26 to celebrate my birthday. Whenever I go to Olive Garden, which is about once a year, I always order an Italian Margarita. Well, I was told they were out of Amaretto & could not make this drink. So, then I asked for an espresso martini. The waitress came back saying their espresso machine wasn’t working. Okay, that was very annoying. First, out of Amaretto? There’s a liquor store right in the shopping center where the restaurant was located. No excuse. The espresso machine being broken I can understand is not rectifiable. So, I settled for one of the sweet blue drinks. Then the 6 of us ordered our food. Soup, salad & breadsticks were good. Appetizers were very good. Then we waited for a good 15 minutes for our entrees after eating our appetizers, soup & salad! When they arrived all but 2 dishes (assuming the last ones prepared while the other 4 sat under the warming light) was room temperature to very cold!! The waitress took the 4 cold entrees back & said the manager was remaking them. We waited quite a while for the remade 4 entrees. When they arrived, 3 of the 4 were hot. My husband’s, however, was very cold. It was chicken & shrimp carbonara with rigatoni noodles. The chicken & shrimp was ice cold. The waitress said, “I know its not a great thing but we can put it in the microwave.” Ummm no. We all got frustrated & asked for to go boxes. We came home & put our leftovers in the fridge. Now today, the 12th, my husband goes to warm up his entree and notices
That his entree had the rigatoni noodles but also ziti noodles AND spaghetti noodles!! This is just crazy at this point. Our bill was over $180 and did not have any credits or anything yet. I had to ask for the manager to come talk to us. THEN she said she was comping a portion of our bill. She gave us approximately $50 credit. I was okay with that. I also got a free piece of cake for my birthday but I would have gotten that even if our meals were perfect because that is what Olive Garden does for your birthday. BUT, the waitress never said anything about it. The manager did when we were complaining about the food. I can understand wanting to bring everyone’s entrees at once but when you have a large group, this is not a good idea because entrees sit there getting cold & DRY while waiting for other entrees getting made. It was obvious that noodles were pre-made & cold and then topped with hot sauce. And why was the chicken & shrimp so cold?? And on the 2nd try? You’d think the chef would make sure everything was fresh made on the 2nd try for sure! It was just obvious that the cook did not care at all yesterday. Everyone has bad days but if you’re in this type of profession, you should take pride in the quality of food & service you are providing. Needless to say, my birthday dinner SUCKED!!

Comfort. The ultimate comfort food must be Italian! Olive Garden does a consistent job on Italian favorites so you can rely on them when you need it. Eggplant parmigiana and pasta with their glorious breadsticks and a salad was my comfort food of choice but I could have picked anything on the menu and had success. I think my favorite thing was the eggplant parmigiana-so good.

Definitely over priced for the quality of food. Atmosphere is so nice that it is a shame. It seems like microwaved food. My dish had tiny diced asparagus. The pumpkin dessert had an odd flavor. My husband did not eat his dinner. Great place for a glass of wine and appetizer. Dinner is always disappointing.

We had a wonderful evening, we had a party of 17, we were celebrating 4 birthdays, our server Kingsley was absolutely amazing! He felt like part of the family. The way he interacted with the children and adults, he was superb! I would definitely recommend him as a server!

Went here and it was a good experience, I got the steak and who knew they could make a good one but they do! It was tender and great. The pasta appetizer was not that good and the soup was okay but I am pleased with my visit! Monkey Approves.

Pretty good for an Olive Garden. Our server was lovely. We came for the soup and salad and never-ending pasta bowl. The mushroom cream sauce and five-cheese marinara are tops. Angel hair and rigatoni are my favorite. The salad could have had more dressing, but it was awesome of the server to ask us what we wanted left out of the salad. It was also nice to sit in sight of the bathroom, but not too near.

A friend and I decided to get some dinner on a friday night, clearly expecting to wait as it’s the beginning of the weekend and probably one of their busiest nights. they said the estimated wait time was 20-25 minutes, after 45 minutes we went in to ask if our table would be ready anytime soon. the host, taylor to be exact, said she had called our name out 5 minutes ago and sent a text. as we were just sitting outside keeping an eye on the door we knew she never came out to call our name. not only that but she said they had sent a text and that we had just never came inside, not sure who they texted because they never asked for our phone number? after a short passive aggressive back and forth conversation about that we finally got seated. from the very beginning our waitress, ruth, was extremely rude and acting as if we were wasting her time. assuming she was just having a bad day i didn’t take it too personally until a table of boys got sat next to us and ruth was being super friendly and doing the most to help them out. she was straight faced and rude with us , while flirting with the boys and at one point she was literally laying on their table while completely bent over while taking their order. either she needs to find a job that allows her to sit down or she needs to separate work life from her regular one because it’s very inappropriate to flirt with customers. the only positive thing is that the food was very good.
both taylor and ruth made us feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable and believe me, we will not be back!!
