Reviews
The waiter and waitress were very friendly, polite and efficient. I enjoyed the salad , bread sticks and spaghetti. My husband had chicken parmigiana which he enjoyed. We got our meal fairly quick, considering the size of the group.
I did notice that the front doors really need to be cleaned properly, and my menu was stained with spaghetti sauce.

A “manager”, Tracy” came around to check on us and commented on the incident. We thought he was going to make it right but he disappeared leaving the wrong food in front of us and moving on, with the attitude of you got food, quit complaining. The server never came back to check on drinks or to try to make anything right, she was out of the picture completely. Servers from other tables happened by and offered to help by at least getting someone to bring drinks. I ordered the soup, salad and breadsticks and was only served a half bowl of soup, and was told I would get my soup when the rest of the table got their meals, not with the salad. I asked for another soup, which after 20 minutes, I realized I would not get.
“Manager Tracy” appeared again and we expressed our displeasure with the whole experience. He came back with a handful of mints and put them in front of me, the largest woman in the group, and said “here, I made it right”, then brought me the missing soup in a to go container the same time as another server brought one and looked at me and said “now, here’s 2 soups, I really made it right” and walked away. How condescending! He was very argumentative about the situation instead of apologetic. Then another server happened by with a receipt which wasn’t even for our table and was arguing with us that it was and we were still in the process of paying.
Another manager, Olivia, happened by and heard us having the discussion and then offered us a gift card as compensation. We had to fight to get boxes and bags for the food…asked at least 3 times before someone got them for us.
This was just what went on at the table…let’s not even get into the servers in the restroom talking about how bad their jobs were and how “Kelly (apparently some kind of supervisor or manager) was ridiculous expecting me to jump to a customers demand for mushrooms and needed to learn their role” among other things. They switched to Spanish when they realized I was in a stall. Then I exited the restroom and there was a huddle at the hostess stand of 4-5 servers & hostesses (including the 2 from the restroom) complaining about things. The overall atmosphere and vibe was very hostile, chaotic and condescending. Not at all how I wanted to entertain out of town guests.
I’d rather drive a little further to Clermont or The Villages than go through that experience again. I won’t be back to the Leesburg location.
We chose this restaurant to celebrate my grandmother’s 88th birthday, which should have been a meaningful and smooth experience. We were seated promptly, and the initial service was great—but that quickly fell apart. After ordering, we waited over 30 minutes with no food, and from that point forward the experience deteriorated rapidly.
The most frustrating part was feeling held hostage at the end of the meal. Our server repeatedly forgot simple requests, including bringing our check. We waited nearly 40 minutes just to pay, only to have our checks messed up entirely, resulting in incorrect charges. At that point, patience was gone.
We attempted to resolve the situation by involving leadership, and that made things worse. A manager named Marc came over and was dismissive, pompous, and completely lacking urgency or empathy. There was no ownership of the situation, no meaningful apology, and no sense that this mattered—despite it being a milestone birthday ruined by poor execution. His approach was discouraging and reflected a serious lack of basic people-management skills.
What’s most troubling is that this is not a one-off experience. Every visit lately seems worse than the last. Something is clearly broken here—whether it’s staffing, training, leadership, or accountability.
This was highly discouraging and deeply disappointing, and I genuinely hate seeing a once-great location fall this far. At this point, I am not confident we will return.
Olive Garden corporate leadership should take this location seriously before it permanently loses loyal customers.
