We recently had dinner at Olive Garden Italian Restaurant with our family, and it turned out to be such a nice, relaxed evening.
We decided to try the fried shrimp, and it was honestly better than we expected. The shrimp were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. They were seasoned really well and tasted fresh. Dipping them in the sauce just made them even better. Everyone at the table kept reaching for “just one more.”
Of course, the breadsticks and salad were a hit as always, you really can’t go to Olive Garden without enjoying those. The atmosphere was comfortable and family-friendly, which made it easy to just sit back, talk, and enjoy our time together. Our server was kind and patient, especially with the kids, and made sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, it was a simple but really enjoyable family dinner. Good food, generous portions, and a welcoming environment. We left full and happy, and we’ll definitely be back again.

I hadn’t been to Olive Garden since 2014, and on my birthday I randomly decided it was where I wanted dinner. The host was genuinely kind and even wished me a happy birthday again on the way out, which I really appreciated.
The rest of the experience, though, was pretty disappointing. I ordered the lasagna frittas and was told they were probably out, only to find out they actually had them but the manager had 86’d them on the tabletop system. Not a huge deal, just odd.
The breadsticks came out crunchy and without the usual buttery garlic. When our server asked if we wanted more, my partner mentioned the issue. He said he’d take care of it, but no replacements ever came. Later, he said he’d bring more breadsticks again — still nothing.
I ordered the Calabrian Steak & Shrimp Bucatini, and after we finished our soup and salad, the server came back to say they were out of bucatini entirely. When they sang happy birthday, he forgot to ask my name, so my partner and I ended up awkwardly singing it ourselves.
I don’t expect fine dining from Olive Garden, but I do expect the basics to be consistent — especially on a birthday visit. The pasta I ended up with was okay, and my partner liked her dish, but both of our steaks were ordered medium rare and came out well done.
The staff was friendly, but the overall execution missed the mark in ways that added up quickly. For a place known for simple, reliable staples, this visit fell short.

The Olive Garden was the only choice for catering my grandson’s twenty second birthday party celebration. The food was delicious and prepared with lots of care! There was a variety of different flavors and choices of food. There were two large bowls of salads and lots of hot breadsticks. The spaghetti and meatballs were flavorful and delicious as was the ziti in Alfredo Sauce. The evening celebration was a great success!

We haven’t been to Olive Garden in so long and decide to give it visit. Online ordering was easy and quick. The food was made and ready in the time as stated when placing the order. Curb-side picking up was very easy. Text when I got where and they were outside with the food in seconds. The food still tastes the same as we remembered. Bread sticks were on point, love their in-house Italian dress for the salad, etc.

From the moment we walked in to being seated and served, the service my party-of-12 received was outstanding! I would like to thank the young gentleman who seated us and hope you have much success during your senior year in HS (with those manners and chill persona, you’ll go very far ) and our very attentive and calm server, Ben. The restaurant staff was very accommodating, even facing an olive oil allergy and presenting delicious solutions to ensure everyone had a warm meal in front of them. Food was definitely filling and up to Olive Garden standards. Great job guys!

Disappointing Salad – Mostly Just Lettuce
I ordered a jumbo salad for pickup from Olive Garden and was really disappointed when I got home and opened it. At first glance, everything seemed fine, but once I started serving it, it was clear that the salad was almost entirely lettuce. There were maybe five slices of tomato, about five black olives, and a bunch of onions—and that was it. For the size of the bowl, the amount of toppings was just ridiculously low.
After three people served themselves, the only thing left in the bowl was, unsurprisingly, a pile of plain lettuce. I’ve included photos so you can see for yourself. Honestly, I expected a better balance of ingredients from a place like Olive Garden. Definitely not ordering this again.
