Price: I spent about $40 for an appetizer, endless soup, an entree, an iced coffee, and a take home meal so I think I got an acceptable amount for the price.
Service: The waiter’s name was Derek and he was super funny and hospitable even with all the questions I asked him! Humorous staff and someone came to ask how our food was ever so often which was reassuring. Didn’t take long to get the food either and Derek even gave the table extra chocolate! Loved it
5/5 all around highly recommended it!
I go out and get there around 7. Proceeded to sit in my car with no update or contact. I get out and go inside at 7:30. See about 3 people currently waiting for an order. I see my large bag of food sitting on the counter, with the big “6:57” pick up time on the receipt. I ask for my food and get told by someone (who i assume was doing their best with the situation at hand) that “it needs checked out.” I paid online, in full, just hand me my food. So I wait another couple of minutes until my food is given to me. I have no idea how long its been out. Oh well, I chock it up to the day I’ve been having. Well, I get home to our takeaway meals for tomorrow being warm already. This is either from them just sitting for so long that it started to reheat or it was cooked. Bread sticks have gone cool and have begun condisating. Then, the topper for me, I open my chicken tortellini Alfredo to a flooded bowl of maybe 6 pieces of chicken and a few morsels of ravioli. I spent $100 to not have to cook dinner tonight. I tipped. You guys stole my evening and provided me with the most disappointing olive garden experience I’ve ever had. Honestly want my money back but I dont want to waste any more time there.
The bathrooms were truly filthy. Also, who keeps a plunger next to a toilet? Literally has to be months since that bathroom has had a good scrub down. There was also a poop streak down the toilet on the outside. Maintenance is not doing their due diligence. I will not be returning to this location.
For context, we were a party of 16. To be accommodating, we offered to split up and sit in different areas of the restaurant. This seemed like a reasonable solution, but we were told no. The host stated they had already spoken with the manager, Alex, and that it would still be an hour and a half wait. This was difficult to understand given the number of open tables and the fact that the restaurant still had two hours before closing.
A better approach could have been to seat us gradually, limit menu options, or clearly explain specific kitchen constraints rather than giving a blanket wait time that did not align with what we observed. As it stood, the situation felt poorly handled and dismissive.
I will be escalating this experience to the corporate office, as this did not reflect the level of service or problem solving I would expect from Olive Garden.
