I had a divine time at Olive Garden
The restaurant is really nice and completely updated.
Our server Teon was absolutely fantastic. One of the best servers I’ve ever had anywhere, ever. He was upbeat, funny, and prompt. Be sure to ask for him!
Everything was delicious and served promptly.
The eggplant Parm, gnocchi soup, and tiramisu were and my Italian Margarita had me saying Mama Mia!
I’ll be back!
Her name is Pamela, and she was bussing tables.
Even though she wasn’t our server, I couldn’t help but notice how hard she was working the entire time we were there. At one point, a server accidentally dropped some sauce on the carpet and didn’t even notice it. Pamela immediately saw it, put down what she was doing, and went over to clean it up so it wouldn’t stain. That level of awareness and care for the restaurant really says a lot about her work ethic.
Later, when our table had accumulated quite a few plates and we hadn’t been attended to for a bit, Pamela kindly approached us and asked if she could help clear the table. We were getting ready to open gifts for my son’s birthday, and her help made a big difference in that moment. She was so kind and respectful about it.
What really stood out to me was her humility. When I thanked her and asked for her name on the way out, she seemed genuinely surprised that someone noticed the work she was doing. Yet the entire time we were there, I never once saw her standing around—she was constantly moving, helping, cleaning, and supporting the team.
Pamela may not have been our server, but she was the employee who made the biggest impression on us that night. I truly hope management or the franchise owner sees this, because employees like Pamela represent the kind of dedication, pride, and humility that Customers notice and appreciate.
She made a difference in our experience.
To make matters worse, I was served what had to be the skinniest piece of lasagna I’ve ever seen — it honestly looked like the end slice that should’ve never left the kitchen. It was noticeably smaller than what you’d expect for the price.
I politely offered to pay extra for a larger piece because the portion I received was unacceptable. Instead of being understanding, the tall man at the front seemed visibly frustrated that I even asked. He went to the back to check and then came out saying it would be another 45 minutes. The attitude alone made the situation worse.
Between the cold food, the tiny portion, and the poor customer service, the entire experience was frustrating. It wasn’t just about the lasagna — it was about how the situation was handled. A little courtesy and effort would have gone a long way.
Very disappointed.
