The food is what I can praise the most—it was exquisite! The Stuffed Chicken Marsala is delicious, and I especially loved the mushrooms in it. The portion size was quite large for just me. The Spinach Artichoke Dip was also very good and an appropriate size for about four people as a starter.
However, the salad left much to be desired. It would have been better if the onions and cabbage weren’t cut into such large pieces.
Regarding the Spiked Strawberry Lemonade, although it has a slight hint of vodka, you can barely taste it—I wouldn’t have noticed the alcohol unless I had read the description. I would have preferred it less sweet, but it was still good.
The table service was standard—nothing beyond what I expected.
When I got home I was disappointed to find the grilled chicken extra I ordered with the Portobello Mushrooms was not included even though I paid for it. I was also disappointed that there was no dressing with any of the 4 salads. I could not drive all he way back and did not phone to complain which I should have done
On the other hand, the service was decent. Our server was friendly and attentive, but not overly enthusiastic. The atmosphere was typical of a chain restaurant, nothing special but clean and comfortable.
Overall, I would say that Olive Garden is an okay option if you’re in the area and craving Italian food, but don’t expect to be blown away by the cuisine or service. Maybe I just caught them on an off day, but I won’t be rushing back anytime soon.
Bartender was great.
We were seated in a cramped section where multiple parties were packed tightly together, making it extremely loud and uncomfortable. The tables were so close that it was difficult to enjoy our meal due to all the conversations happening right on top of each other.
Service continued to go downhill from there. Our waitress was very stingy with the breadsticks—to the point where I had to repeatedly ask for more despite them being advertised as unlimited. In total, I only received five breadsticks during the entire meal. While we were eating, another server began sweeping the already small and crowded section, which was disruptive and unpleasant.
Both of us ordered nearly the same meal. My partner’s dish arrived with broccoli she did not order. When we sent it back, the plate returned with the broccoli clearly just removed—there were still pieces of broccoli all over the food. This was unacceptable and made us uncomfortable continuing to eat. On top of that, my soup was served lukewarm, which is concerning and likely not up to proper food safety standards.
Overall, the service was subpar and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. We would not return to this Olive Garden, and if this is how paying customers are treated, management seriously needs to address both service and food handling standards
