My boyfriend and I visited this location last night. We noticed that the table was very sticky and dirty. After waiting about 15 mins for a waiter to come, we placed our entire order at once. It took another 10 mins for the drinks and salad to come. After running out of salad and breadsticks, 15 mins later the appetizer came, then another 30 mins for the entrees. We noticed that parties that came in after us, were packing up their leftovers before we even received our entrees. The staff never removed any used dishes from the table, until they’d ran out of glassware in the kitchen, but only removed two out of the five cups that had piled up on the table. By the time our entrees came, we were just ready to leave. We ate about a quarter of the food then tried to wave down our waiter for to-go boxes. She was peaking around the corner from the kitchen, instead of checking on tables. Eventually we were able to get her attention and got the boxes. Hopefully this wasn’t a common occurrence for other patrons.

Everything we ate was fantastic! The Tour of Italy and the Steak Gorgonzola pasta was great. Our waitress was a sweet heart i can’t remember her name though. Every time i come here the food is always consistent and good!

I ordered 2 orders of Soup, salad and breadsticks at about 8:30pm last night at the Columbia Md location. Omg! I received 2 salads loaded with brown lettuce and big lettuce chunks. The minestrone soup had tons of pasta as a filler and not many veggies. This is why I usually go to the Hanover location. I can get to Hanover 15 minutes before they close and my food is Fresh. I won’t be going back to dine in Columbia Olive Garden.

Celebrated my 48th birthday with my young men. They had the never ending pasta bowl, and I had the shrimp and chicken carbonara with broccoli added. Of course the salad and bread sticks were exceptional.

Let me start by saying originally I was not excited about our experience, the host was not very helpful and must not have informed the wait staff as we sat for atleast 15 mins without water or a word.
That being said a charming, friendly and smiling Destany came to our table to ask if we have been served, as soon as she found out we were without service she jumped quickly into action to take care of every single need we had. She is a wonderful person and an amazing employee, she made our night fun and memorable. Thank you again for the great food and service. We will for sure be back!

I want to start off by saying that the food at Olive Garden has always been our one of our favorites.But the most special part of my daughter’s 18thbirthday party was the servers.They were absolutely wonderful so patient,tenaciously fast,accommodating, knowledgeable & so kind.Their professional is unmatched to so many different type of starred restaurants that we have been to. This was the absolute best. I have been furloughed from my GOVERNMENT job. It was a difficult decision to not have an 18th birthday bash for my daughter in a bigger type of setting.When I made this decision my daughter right away decided on the Columbia MD, Olive Garden because she loves the breadsticks & the endless pasta. Plus, it was a more economic way to not burden anyone who’s coming to the party with very reasonable prices. But again the servers made this party a true success. It felt like a huge birthday bash and they made that happen for us and we are so incredibly grateful. Especially now that we are going through a very hard time. Thank you so much also to everyone when I called in four times within seven days to set this up. They were very kind on the telephone calls as well and assured me that everything would be set up by 6:15 PM before we arrived at 6:30 & it was great. Cece even accommodated me when I arrived when I needed a table for the cake.She rolled one right in the room to put the cake and all the gifts on.It was so incredible. I can’t say enough about these 4servers and thank you to the staff in the kitchen, who obviously we did not see, who worked hard on all of our meals.The hosts in the front were also very accommodating and so friendly and happy. It made everyone who came in excited to be there. Thank you to the whole restaurant on the night of Wed,Oct. 29th for spectacular service and for making my daughter very happy & for allowing this mother who is sadly furloughed, to feel so happy about the celebration that my daughter got to have.God bless you all & thank you! Please Please tell them they are Awesoem especially the 4 servers!

We decided to have an early dinner on Sunday and were pleasantly surprised when we were seated within 5 minutes.
The chicken parm was delicious, but the portion size seemed smaller than it used to be.
The kids enjoyed themselves and loved the Alfredo dish.

Looks like this is another restaurant affected by the downturn. Had to wait 30 minutes to be seated in a restaurant that was mostly empty? No servers? Anyway food was good as always except the breadsticks that have been awful since 2006. Service was excellent.
