She has Chicken Alfredo w Broccoli. I ordered the Angel hair pasta w Mushroom Alfredo, added grilled chicken and broccoli to mine
We also had the salad and ordered dessert to go.
The woman who seated us was very kind and she seated us at a table, not a booth, as requested. There weren’t many people in the restaurant as it was 230pm.
Our waitress was delightful, helpful and kind.
When ordering the salad we requested onions on the side. They were cut in such large chunks, my friend had to cut them down to use them in her salad!
The bread sticks were not even warm.. they were stale and hard.
Out came pasta after 23 mins.
To say it was dry… Was an understatement! Before the waitress had left us, we showed her there was no sauce on the pasta. She insisted there was, that they put a scoop of sauce on it.
You can see in the pictures there is no sauce. We requested more sauce on the side for each of us. Mine had mushrooms, hers did not.
The waitress returned about 5 minutes later w 2 dishes w our extra sauce in each. They had roughly 1 tablespoon of sauce in each dish. She also brought me regular Alfredo and not the mushrooms kind.
Idk … It was sauce!
She left us both wondering what was going on. Soon a shift manager approached us to see how everything was. We explained to her that our dishes arrived to us w no.. or at best Very Little sauce!
I told her, I get it, the pasta may have absorbed the sauce some… But this was more than that.
I showed her the “extra” sauce we were given and asked her if she felt that was an acceptable amount of extra sauce. She replied, it’s better than none at all and we didn’t charge you for it! Good thing!
She truly didn’t care one bit! She was doing her JOB.. (Just Over Broke) going to tables asking how things were and dismissing people!
When the waitress came back I had asked for more mushroom sauce.. she came back w the sauce. And if you know anything about Alfredo sauce, you know when it breaks and what it looks like!
Here is how the conversation went…
That sauce is broken..
Yeah I saw that too.
Don’t ya have any sauce that isn’t broken?
No, it’s the end of the month and near the end of the month the sauce gets that way!
What??? Y’all don’t make the Alfredo sauce fresh… Like daily…
No we make big batches and use it all month.
So when was this sauce made?
Idk, I couldn’t tell ya.. I just work here as a waitress!
WOW! Ok, thanks.
What a shitty thing to do to your customers Olive Garden! You serve sauces that were made weeks ahead of time!
I have included the pictures of only my food. As for my friend, it’s her story to tell if she should choose to do so!!
What a sorry, pitiful restaurant! To serve old food like that! For the employees to have no care or concerns for public safety!
I will be sure to share my experiences w anyone who wants to listen. I have pictures to back it up!
Do Better Olive Garden!
Or server started out strong, and was on top of everything, but then she disappeared and we needed boxes, extra sauce(when reheated, it loses some sauce) and to pay our bill. (I forgot we could use the little kiosk to pay it ) The server taking care of the table next to us noticed and took care of us as well. We tipped our server but a portion of hers went to the other server as well.
They do have vegetarian meal options, but we didn’t try any of them.
Plenty of seating, tables, booths, and seats at the bar, we sat at a table.
Food was delish as usual
Favorite place to stop
