The food has always been consistently good and reasonably priced. We have eaten here a number of times for both breakfast and lunch and we have always enjoyed it! The fresh cut fries are great as are the blueberry pancakes! The atmosphere is nice and the servers are friendly with great service!

This was our first time at the Olive Branch Family Diner and we were very happy to find a very clean and nicely decorated dinning room. The service was quick and the waitress friendly and attentive. The food selection was not expansive, but that is ok with me. I’m thinking the staff is focused on a manageable number of menu items which means the quality and consistency will come through. This was certainly true with my nicely presented chicken salad which included a generous amount of grill chicken and cut veggies. My wife’s chicken croquettes were super delicious and there were 3 of them! The prices were reasonable too. Thank you Olive Branch owners for a very nice dinner out for us!

We love that this restaurant is local and the service is typically really good. However, food is inconsistent and they don’t allow for customizations for ones order. For example. We asked for wheat bread on our hot beef sandwich and were told we needed to get white as no customizations were encouraged. Another time we asked for the chicken parm meal which comes with spaghetti. We asked to sub the spaghetti for a different side (we’re even willing to pay extra $ and were told we couldn’t). Servers are very kind but these issues do not equate to being customer oriented. Their pastries are very good. Menu could use more variety though overall.

We really want to love it here but we never know what we’re going to get.

We went for a quick dinner after a long day working in the garden. Norman was our server and was very attentive as well as efficient.
I ordered the chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and coleslaw, the coleslaw is amazing! My husband ordered the hamburger steak( which is basically a hamburger patty with nothing on it, and it could have been bigger!) He ordered it without gravy which Norman gave instructions and they put gravy on it anyway. My husband ordered regular fries hot and crispy, and you’ll see by the picture that they were not crispy. My husband opted to eat what he was served because we had waited a long time for food because the restaurant was slammed. The atmosphere is light and airy and everyone is very friendly. We will go back and ask for Norman, who was a delight. My only note would be to the kitchen; Please pay attention to the special instructions from the waitstaff.

This is a cute small town diner paired with contemporary farmhouse decor. It’s comfy, welcoming, and the food is well made and portioned.
My only gripe was how cold the front end was with the amount of traffic in and out. I’d recommend a barrier to mitigate the airflow from the doorway.
We’re looking forward to coming back in the future.

We live right down the road and visit here once a week for either breakfast or a quick dinner on a busy night. The service is always great and the waitresses are super sweet. The inside of the building is beautiful with all the renovations. Food is limited but always good. Breakfast is always a real treat and their soups are SO good. Prices are reasonable, and we love the candles and jewelry they sell by the cash register. My 11 year old has probably 6 pairs of earrings from there. This place is a hidden gem in Bowmansville.

So far I’ve only been there for breakfast. The food has been amazing. Even my father said it’s was the best omelet he’s ever had. The food comes out fast. The service is good but one server is exceptionally nice and is constantly on the go. I just don’t know her name. Highly recommend.

Ordered bagel toasted well – arrived barely toasted. Waitress explained they put through toaster 1x. Husband had peach baked oatmeal – almost no peaches in it and those pieces were extremely small. Waitress did come back with coffee and was otherwise pleasant. Normally, food is good.

Atmosphere was nice. Service good, place clean. Food the menue needs a bit of work n food was average. I ordered some sorta burger supposed to be like Salisbury steak i guess. I think it was a frozen burger litterly with gravy. Even my wifes burger i believe just a frozen patty. Fresh is not hard. Prices in range with what a fresh burger would be. They got the Atmosphere and service n cleanliness down, but food needs some attention. It was ok for 1 visit. Coffee was good small but good. Deserts looked good. Maybe a good place for that. I will say ther soup was ok. Im sorry just being honest.

1.16.26. The salads, rolls, mashed potatoes, gravy and onions, sweet potato fries and lemon merangue pie were excellent.. The liver that I received first, I sent back. It was hard and dry. The second piece had lots of gristle as it had not been deveined carefully from the processing, indicating a poor supplier. The haddock had a strong fishy taste more like blue fish.
Very disappointed predicated on the reviews I saw. Although this restaurant is close to me, it is not one I would visit anytime soon.
