We had our Dad’s 99th birthday party there. Annemarie and her team provided us with exceptional service. Food was delicious. Thank you Olivadis.

Wonderful, friendly spot. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are absolutely lovely. The food was great, and we loved chatting with other guests at the bar. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a large family meal at Olivadi recently and were so impressed with everything. They have a separate, private room for large parties and it was perfect for us! We had a couple young kids in the group and it gave us the flexibility to let the kids be up and about during breaks in the meal. The waitress could not the been nicer, even with the chaos of our large party and the food was excellent, everyone enjoyed their meal. My only comment was that the meal moved slowly and I wish dessert hadn’t taken so long but the upset of that is that we didn’t feel like they were rushing us out in any way. The rest of the restaurant was lovely and had a good crowd when we were leaving but where we sat was perfect and it was so nice to have a private space so that we could all talk and enjoy the evening.

We loved our food! We had the ragú, bolognese, linguini and clam special, and branzino. Everything was delicious. There was a little delay getting our wine and add on of chicken, but everything was amazing so it was worth the wait. Our waitress was so kind and took good care of us. The limoncello spritz is also so delicious!

Giving this 4 stars as the problem was the server and not the overal restaurant experience (food, ambiance). Had made advance reservations with 2 friends before we attended a concert at the Norwood Theatre. We planned for 1 hour/45 mintues which should have been plenty of time. Friends arrived early and were seated and had ordered a drink. We arrived about 10 minutes later (on time). Front desk was very welcoming! We were seated with our friends and…. waited and waited for the server (who acted very rushed). And I use the word “server” generously. She did not know the specials. We had not yet ordered drinks for ourselves so we ordered the drinks at the same time we ordered food (friends ordered 2 appetizers and a small pizza; we ordered one salad to share and a small pizza). Our drinks, salad and appetizers arrived after a bit of a wait. The best salad ever (pears, greens, yummy); our friends said the onion soup and calamari were really good as well. Patience, Patience. Patience. Pizzas were just not coming of the kitchen (hmmm had they been ordered?). In the meantime, we were looking for the server to order another drink. Server kept walking past us and never stopped to remove empty plates, upsell another drink, or figure out what happened to the pizzas. After a substantial wait and long after we finished the appetizers, I saw the server entering something into a terminal, so I walked over and asked her about our pizzas. Oh, they “should” be coming out (i.e., she didn’t have a clue). She just wasn’t going to waste her precious time figuring this out. 10 more minutes. We waived her down to inquire about the stupid pizzas as we have now almost run out of time. She did not return, nor did anyone else, no one cleared off the pile of dirty dishes nor did anyone ask if we wanted to refill the drinks. Nada! Finally, 5 minutes before we thought we should leave, the pizzas arrived. We ate one slice and asked for a box. The attitude: “oh, you want a box?”. Asked for check. Wait…. Check plunked down on table. Dirty dishes still piling up and still staring at us. Never got her attention for another drink.
The ambiance is very nice and the food was good; prices are not the best deal in town but we were satisfied with the food. Management should have some additional training for some of these servers, i.e., pay attention to the tables, remove empty dishes, etc., etc.
We may, or may not, return but, rest assured, we will refuse to sit at a table if it is in that server’s area!

A genuine local restaurant, family owned and proud of its quality and integrity. The menu are classic Italian-American staples (various pasta dishes, chicken Parmesan, brick oven pizzas…). The staff is charismatic and fully bought into the restaurant’s proposition as a local, fun, but also elegant and authentic dinner venue. If you squint it’s 1950 or 1970 or 1990…Check any bad energy at the door. One additional tip…there’s veal Milanese with lemon sauce and rúcula, and there is chicken Parmesan. But they’re happy to serve veal Parmesan even though it’s not on the menu. As a final comment—it’s a 1 minute walk from Lewis’s pub—another authentic regional classic and a great place to finish off the evening. I will always make a point to have dinner at Olivadi’s when in town visiting family and longing for a dose of Norwood integrity.

First time here. Staff was great. Friendly. Seems like they just recently reopened after Covid hiatus. We happened on the place by parking out front and realizing the place we were going to was take out only so we thought why not lets try.
We had calamari for app. Not bad. Portion was small.
We all had something different. My carbonara was ok. Needed more egg/cheese. I had maybe 5 small pieces of pancetta.
The gnocchi was ok. Sauce was good. My friend had the bolognese and said it was excellent. His wife had the Funghi Pappardelle and said it fell a bit flat. I took a taste. Needed salt.
Two thing prevented a 5 star. First…Portions where pretty small. Leaning on true Italy portions but when you’re in Italy you also eating a lot more things to fill up on the cheap. And two..the price for the portions was very very expensive. 25-26 for a simple pasta dish was a lot. All in all good staff good food. I may try the pizza next time, It’s cheaper

The restaurant had a fun atmosphere with a bar. The servers were really nice and kept coming to our table. The best part was the dessert. We also had pasta, which I enjoyed. The restaurant had a fun vibe, maybe because of the dim lighting. I had a great time.
