The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and pleasant, which I really appreciated. However, some items on the menu were unavailable when we tried to order. The staff were friendly, but they seemed a bit inexperienced.

Although it is described as an Italian restaurant, the food felt much more Turkish in style and flavor. The fried calamari we ordered did not taste freshly made — it seemed like it had been frozen and simply reheated. It definitely did not have the crispy, freshly fried taste you would expect, especially compared to what you might get at a pub.

Overall, the food was disappointing considering the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would return.

Visual appearance of the store was lovely.
Service to receive items was just as kind.
We were able to order manicotti with a sub of Alfredo, which I understand was odd.
Order was placed as a takeout at 530, prime dinner crowd hours, though there weren’t many filled tables inside.
The only item that remained warm after the 7 minute drive to the Residence Inn by Marriott was the regular Alfredo.
The pasta of both manicotti dishes were rubbery and dry. The cannelloni pasta was of similar texture.
Overall displeased with the food items, especially in consideration with the cost.

Maybe it’s a takeout issue? I’m hesitant to return.
I was also confused with the loaf of semi-stale bread, but that may be a personal issue.

Yesterday was my first time at Oliva, and I’ll definitely be coming back. The food was delicious, the prices were great, and the service was excellent.

The food came out faster than I expected, and both the waiters and the new owners were very attentive to everything we needed.

They have a new special menu with some really tasty dishes. We tried the Oliva’s Special Pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The homemade Burro sauce was the perfect touch, offering a excellent fusion between Italian and Mediterranean flavors.

They also offer a nice selection of wines, beers, and local drinks to go perfectly with your meal.

My husband and I dined out at Oliva for the anniversary of our first date 10 years prior. Our experience at Oliva was excellent. The food was delicious! I loved the lentil soup and lamb delight. My husband had the baked ziti, which he really enjoyed. The restaurant’s ambience is just lovely as well. Prices were right. Recommend folks give the place a try.

We randomly chose OLIVA tonight as it served Mediterranean food. Our meal tonight exceeded our best expectations. The atmosphere was sublime. Soft jazz in the background but well lit and still cozy. The menu screamed Turkish to us and we both love love Turkish food. The lentil soup was some of the best I have had including what I have eaten in Turkey. The beef kabob grilled perfectly and the vegetarian stuff eggplant had me swooning with every bite. The baklava for desert was perfect. The menu is great, the prices are very reasonable for what was served and the service was stellar. Definitely put this on the list of new places to try before it gets discovered and hard to book. Will come back again. Thank you for a wonderful evening of food and ambiance

Great server, ok atmosphere. Good bread, the wine was meh. I had baked ziti and the Mediterranean salad instead of a side salad or soup. There was no ziti in the baked ziti, which was served on a plate not the usual little casserole type dish. Way too much cheese and some tomato sauce. I asked for extra ziti but the meal was preportioned and there was no extra ziti. In my opinion this was premade and heated to scorching hot in a microwave. I ordered tiramisu which was quite good. When the bill arrived I had a charge if $8.99 for the salad. I asked why it was so much when a salad came with my meal. I was told that salad is normally $9.99 so I got a whole $1.00 off. If I would’ve known that I would’ve stuck with the house salad because this salad was really nothing special and even if I only ordered that it’s not worth the price. I won’t be back. Management was not customer service oriented or friendly. New management I heard. Maybe they’ll learn customer service when business gets even slower than it was tonight. Sad.

My first time here, certainly not my last. Our server, Veysel was attentive and ensured we had everything we could want. We got the fried ravioli appetizer, entrees were the special chicken parm & cannelloni, dessert was the Dubai cheesecake…all were amazing and large portions! The sauce on the special chicken parm was the best sauce I’ve ever had! I’m not even sure how to describe the savory flavor. We each had a glass of the Turkish wine (one red & one white), again both were really good.

Food was very good 7.5/10 . Service was slow. Only 1 server for the whole restaurant, they should hire more servers + they charge u 3% more if u use a card.

Very good Italian/Mediterranean restaurant! I got Spaghetti and my girlfriend got the Imama Fainted- both were great! Portions were huge, and service was fast, not to mention very affordable prices. Though it seemed busy and short-staffed when we went, the server still took the time to make sure we were doing well, which can be very difficult when short on hands. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Returning customers, Saturday Dec 21 2025 about 5:00.

Bread and lentil soup were tasty as always.

Lamb shish kabob was cooked to order, would order again.
Thanks for offering lamb, unusual in Wisconsin.
Rice and side salad were tasty.

Chicken Marsala had good mushrooms and pasta.
Actual chicken pieces were small, numerous and possibly previously frozen. Sauce watery, not thick and dark as should be.

Gyro meat was NOT freshly cooked, previously cooked, came from refrigerator and was reheated to order. The meat should be sliced from an active cooking spit for best taste and presentation.

The visual allure, enticement of a spit with cooking gyros meat was gone from Oliva on a Saturday evening.
Probably a management economy move, does not send a good message to customers.

Up to date payment at table is modern time saving convenience for restaurant and clients.
