Our cocktails, chips and salsa were all decent. Our food arrived and it all looked amazing. Unfortunately, while it all looked nice, it all lacked flavor. My shrimp tacos just had cabbage and soggy, tiny breaded shrimp. Even the beans and rice were lacking any kind of flavor. Everyone in our party of 4 felt the same about their food. Highly disappointed in our $130+ lunch. This might be a good spot for happy hour/bar food or something.
Thank you to the waitress for the great service.
Only giving two stars because at least their Margaritas they served were good.
Chips and salsa served even with drinks. The south size is not very good. Kind of blend.
We were seated at a window that had the most awesome view of the ocean. The food and service weren’t the greatest, but it wasn’t horrible. Our waitress was a bit scarce, but I don’t like a hovering waiter, more than twice would’ve been nice though. I ordered the blackened fish tacos and my husband ordered the shrimp tacos which came with fried shrimp. His dish was much tastier than mine, but the blackened fish was a little charred and dry. It was cod, which is juicy white fish, but this was definitely over cooked. The sauce on top wasn’t the best tasting either. The shrimp tacos, however, were pretty good. The shrimp were lightly battered and plenty for the small tortillas. I also wasn’t a fan of the complimentary salsa, but my husband enjoyed it. The guac on the other hand was superb!
We would probably check out a different restaurant before returning to this one, but it’s not off the list.
The hamburger was also something wonderful
Watching the seals play while enjoying a great dinner.
Definitely will be back.
