Came in and ordered a classic canadian pizza and I couldn’t finish anymore than two slices. The pizza is really absurdly thin, cheese tastes completely different than what I expected, pepperoni even had a different taste, then on top of that all there was essentially no pizza sauce. Everyone else who ordered said the food they ordered was excellent, though I couldn’t agree unfortunately. We were sat in the yurt they made in the back porch and it was overall a nice experience except for the lack of cushioning on the seats made it very uncomfortable. Overall I would say it was a terrible experience and I will not be returning. All we got was a Asiago Chicken Capellini, Canadian Pizza and two drinks, this came out to $89.08.

We had a great impromptu date night at Olio tonight. We didn’t snap a picture of the kale Caesar salad but felt that the small was a good size for a couple to split before dinner. We also shared the seafood fettuccine which was excellent- a good amount of well-sized shrimp and mussels, lobster throughout the dish. Really good flavour, something I can’t (or don’t want to) make at home = perfect pick. Pizza was ok, we thought the toppings were good but crust could be improved upon. Crème brule was also delicious. Good variety of wine options. I had the white sangria which was very flavourful. Friendly, personable service and nice patio/courtyard atmosphere with music playing. We’d come back for pasta!

We chose Olio to eat after our wedding ceremony and we don’t regret it! The food was delicious! Service was amazing and the place is beautiful! It was the perfect place for my family and us.
Waitress was friendly, fast and always checking if we needed anything. We hope to go back there during summer time! We truly recommend this place! Thanks a lot ❤️

Yum! The pizza was absolutely delicious, and the yurt experience was both fun and unique. We visited on a stormy night, but the yurt kept us warm and cozy, and we were even offered extra blankets. The service was top-notch, and our group had a blast — everyone left satisfied and happy. While I wouldn’t describe the place as accessible, my friend in an electric wheelchair was able to get in and still enjoy the evening.

We celebrated our 5th Anniversary at OLIO. We dined in the Mangolian Yurt. It was a great atmosphere. Dinner was fantastic along with the service. Definately will be back.

I was there 2 weekends ago… inside the cafe not the yurt… our experience was terrible. The restaurant smelled like mold or rather maybe rotting something? Maybe the grease trap had just been cleaned? Uncomfortable seating. Caprese salad with heirloom tomatoes was fridge cold hot house tomatoes with no flavour… beef tenderloin was likely not the cut we paid for… I could go on… one large group before us left without ordering … a couple beside us was definitely trying to make the best of it while discussing where they were going for dinner #2.

The food was absolutely fantastic! I had the carpaccio, a “Bayfield” pizza on a cauliflower crust and a creme brûlée. every bite 5 stars. I would say the service was excellent but Barrett didn’t serve us he took care of us which is so much better. Go to this restaurant!…… but leave space for us.

The food here was delicious! The butter chicken penne was spectacular. We sat outside on the patio and they had heaters so even though it was a chillier night, the ambience and heaters made us feel cozy. The servers were wearing masks.
