I have been trying to review this place for the past year, but everytime I forget pictures! Finally this time I said pics before eating. Let me start by saying the staff is super sweet. All of them from hostess to waiter, buss boy, manager, all of them so warm and greeting and servicing you. It’s feels like eating and waited on by your own family. The food has always been good! I have never been disappointed with any dish. You get a salad bar choice with most meals. They throw in beans, you make your salad and free ice cream with your meal. You cannot beat that anywhere!!! This place is amazing. My hats go off to them.

I had the baked potato with beef. It was pretty’s good. The beef (burger chopped up) was good and the potato was ok not amazing. Portion size and price were both good. Service was great and the atmosphere was ok not amazing. Could use a little updating and cleaning. Overall pretty good and will probably go back to try something else.

We were greeted as we entered the door on a week night. We were promptly seated. Took a while for a waitress to appear and a bit longer to just get drinks of water. She must have been having a bad day. She was not very hospitable. We both ordered chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes with green beans, tea and diet coke. It was good. We had large portions.
The bathroom was neat and clean.
We would recommend stopping in and checking it out. Hopefully, the waitress will be having a better day when you come by.

I placed a large pickup order for a large group (60+) high school students. The staff was phenomenal at helping me get the order just right. I didn’t give them much notice but they came through. The communication from the owner and staff was great. It was personable, caring, and generous. The students had nothing but good things to say about the food! I highly reccommend this place. I know I will be stopping by when I’m in the area, and we plan to order from them again next year!

Went here a week ago, and to say the least, it was pretty good. The service was awesome and the food was good too. I will definitely go back here and eat. Gotta love some beans and cornbread. I had the 1lb hamburger steak smothered in mushrooms. It’s very tasty. I would recommend this place for sure. God bless

You know those places that say “please wait to be seated” And so u wait and wait until some disgruntled waitress emerges, smelling like a cigarette and tells u to sit wherever u want?…Well thats this place. My Dad and I stopped there for a bite on a Thursday around 3:30. I saw one cook and one waitress. The interior was dark and uninviting. There were 6 diners, including us. I ordered a BLT. The bread was super soggy and the bacon was soft and flimsy. The fries were double fried, oily and unseasoned. My Dad had the hamburger steak which he said was overcooked and the gravy was barely room temperature. I wanted to ask for a refill, but since the waitress brought the check with the meal, we never saw her again. Those of u who read my reviews know I love to eat and I’ve spent most of my life being a waitress so Im fairly lenient but this place just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Love this place! My favorite in town. I have not tried one thing here that was not delicious. The salad bar is just lovely. The service is great and everyone is nice! Try it if you have not.

The fish was definitely clean and quality sized pieces, batter was seasoned well and fried to perfection!!
The French fries weren’t the freshest but still edible and the okra was okay, swet potatoes fries were good!! The salad bar was included in the meal with corn bread and beans also!!

Clean and friendly staff. Our server; Ashley was triple sat when we walked in and she is the definition of a season pro waitress. Flawless service executed. Food was hot and fresh. Great local mom and pop spot.

This is my 2nd time here. Had the chicken fried steak and both times the food is great. This is one of the daily specials and I love the price. I plan on to keep coming here instead of the fast food restaurants. Great service and great salad bar it’s has fresh vegetables and also a large selection.
