There was one person working the register so we had to wait for her to check out all the people with to go orders before we could be
The hot food on the bar wasn’t hot. It was if the food was put out cold for the hot water under the bar to heat up. That wasn’t working because our food was cold.
The roasted chicken and thigh was undercooked as well.
The pies for deserts were just wafer thin slices of pie, no joke, maybe 1/2 in wide slices laying flat on a styofoam plate. The brownies were super dry. And the 2 pie pans remained empty the entire time we were there
Just an all around bad experience.
This is a very typical southern food place to eat all you can eat inside of Auburn Mall.
Menu is really southern food, but I’m feel that they can efforts more. Hot food was a good temperature but the salads are a little bit wrong, I had work to found the sauces. I would like that the vegetables be more fresh.
The ribs in all his presentations are very good, the beans too.
They offer different turkey preparations, but It’s not my favorite!!!
Dessert is very important in places like this, but they no have a good variety. I didn’t like very much.
However the place is big, they have careful about the covid. Guys are nice and ready to clean the dirty plates on the table.
It’s a good place to eat all you can eat!
Food is on-par. Selection of items was awesome, but nothing is labeled so not always sure what getting. Most items seems like every other ‘southern’ restaurant (e.g. catfish, potatoes, gravy); though a couple items seems genuine home cooking (cornbread). Iced tea was genuine brewed and had amazing southern taste (i.e. lots of sugar). But I disliked that plating was a little confusing in that off to the side and not clearly marked. And they only use Styrofoam cups and plastic forks/spoons, which I find to be a cardnal sin in southern cooking. I personally prefer metal forks/knives and an actual glass for my iced tea, but that’s just me.
The short lady that greeted me (Shalee) was amazing and charismatic, probably the best part of my visit. But I only saw my waitress one time to fill my Styrofoam cup. She didn’t remove any old dishes and litteraly vacuumed under my table while eating.
Overall, I’d give this a 3.5, but rounded up because compared to other restaurants in Auburn, this is probably the best place to eat. Also the greeter lady really was exceptionally inviting and earned it.
LOTS of seating area, though it was all partitioned off.
