Decided to drive out of town just to get away for a little bit. Wanted to find a small restaurant to eat at so I picked this place because of their prices and what I gathered from the atmosphere on the images and reviews here on Google, The staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu, the service was fast considering the amount of customers that were coming in and out, looks like this restaurant has been here for a very long time and I really enjoyed the food, I ordered the number nine, but then I took some burritos home to go, everybody loved the burritos, and I really enjoyed my number nine. The only thing that I wanted to mention is that the taco that was included in the combination plate had a store-bought taco shell, but if that’s my worst complaint, I’m still giving this place five stars, I recommend everybody eat here at least once

Local “hole in the wall” diner atmosphere. Great authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. I had both the chimichanga and the sopapilla on two different nights. In the tourist town most everything cost a lot, but the food here is a lot for what you pay.

THIS RESTAURANT IS AMAZING. THE FOOD IS FRESH AND DELICIOUS. I AM A VEGAN AND THE WAITRESS WAS SO COOL AND BROUGHT ME A WONDERFUL MEAL THAT HAD NO ANIMAL CRUELTY ON THE PLATE. THE BEANS AND TORTILLAS WERE HOT AND THE SALAD CRISP AND MADE WITH FRESH TOMATOES. HER HELPER THAT DAY WAS A SWEET KID WITH A LOT OF GRACE. THANK YOU RUIDOSO FOR STEPPING UP YOUR GAME. Outstanding food in a small restaurant. They got slammed so it took some time but was well worth the wait. They checked back with us frequently while we waited. There is a walk up window if the restaurant is full.

This had to be the best, most authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve had so far. I’m visiting Ruidoso and the first night me and my family had some issues but this definitely made up for it. The waitresses are extremely sweet and listening and everything is super clean. I had to get another enchilada the food was so good! Definitely will be coming back!
