The Pancho Burger maybe the best burger I’ve ever ate. Just a magnificent little restaurant tucked away here in Americana. Friendly staff and that old timey feeling. We need more places like this in America!

They forgot to give us our fries but their onion rings and banana splits were more than enough. Servings are plenty. Food tastes fresh and you can’t go wrong with an authentic banana split. It’s a guaranteed stop whenever we visit Lovington.

The food was great! It’s the service that was terrible the girl was so annoyed that we came in and she was so disrespectful rolling her eyes at us she also threw the ticket number at my husband. I’ve never had bad service from yall but I guess there’s always a first.

Orders are frequently wrong, wait times are wildly inaccurate, and there seems to be no system for coordinating items that take different amounts of time. If you order something quick, like a drink or fries, along with something that takes longer, like Henny Pennys, the quick items are often made immediately and then left sitting for 30+ minutes until everything else is done. By the time you get your order, drinks are watery and food is stale or soggy. They also give misleading and inaccurate pickup times. They could say “30 minutes”, and it’ll have been sitting for 10 when you go pick it up at 30, or they’ll say “20 minutes” and then you go pick it up and that turns into 30, then 40, and so on. One time I went through the drive-thru and a young person was clearly under the influence of something, with bloodshot eyes and acting spaced out. Some of them who work there are often unfriendly too. The drinks they give are packed down with ice with hardly any soda. It’s a rip-off. The quality of food is inconsistent. For example, sometimes the onion rings are great, but sometimes is a raw pile of clobbered crust. Two recent experiences were the final straw: On one visit, I ordered several drinks for a group that included sugar-free drinks for the diabetics. None of the drinks were labeled, which was already a problem, and what made it worse was that when I asked for them to be marked, staff acted dumb, like they couldn’t or wouldn’t do it. I should have asked for them to be remade, but I didn’t, and that meant no one could safely tell which drink was which. Several had to be thrown away. That’s not just inconvenient, it’s unsafe. Another recent bad experience is when I placed a small order, I was told it would take 20–25 minutes. After waiting 25 minutes, I went through the drive-thru, paid, and was told to park and that my name would be called when the food was ready. I went to the parked-car waiting area and waited another 30 minutes with no call. I finally phoned, and they said my food had been ready, just sitting there and that I needed to come through the drive-thru to pick it up. So my food was left getting cold and soggy, and they never notified me. The walk-up window was closed, and the drive-thru line was long, so I had to go inside the building. Either way, I had to wait even longer just to retrieve food that should have been given to me much earlier. I waited over an hour for two items. To make matters worse, they said I hadn’t paid, even though I had when I went through the drive-thru the first time, and I wasn’t given a receipt to prove it. They don’t seem to care about their customers or that they’re wasting their time and money. I used to recommend Ole Jax. I don’t anymore. It’s just as bad as Burger Builders now. Oh, and I posted a pic of what their Henny Pennys used to look like versus now. I don’t even know why they take 30 minutes to cook if they’re just slivers now. They cost the same or more now, but are significantly less.

My wife and I try to stop here for Henny Penny’s. Henny Penny’s are big slices of potato wedges and battered. So very good. We love them.

Came in from Oklahoma. A 6 hour drive wanted to enjoy an old favorite restaurant. The pancho burgers were great. The tater tot ms with cheese was terrible. Wait staff was so slow. One of the worst experiences I have ever had at this place. Food was slow to come out. I understand the raise in prices but, quality In service should go up as well as the price. Had the owner been there I would have voiced my opinion straight to him. But it seemed like the staff was very unsupervised. Too much horse play. The girl at the window can’t multitask to save her life. The girl that took my order couldn’t get it right. It was very simple. Plus to top it off they were out of fries
