Edit: it does seem like some of this food is not from today, there are old grease stains on the chickens and what I think are chimichangas lol the taco meat is the same as the kind of Taco Bell..but it tastes like tuna. The corn bread has absolutely no flavor and is not fresh as well
Excellent: chili verde, fried chicken, seasoned rice, 3-color Jell-O dessert (pictured), rice pudding.
Bad: ground beef seemed very low quality, salsa was completely blended & bland, enchiladas were artificial tasting.
As my friend said: “an insult to my Mexican taste buds.”
Place was clean. Workers gathered empty plates quickly. Easy to get around; handicap accessible.
Our summary: decent for a quick bite, but this wouldn’t be a destination place for us again (i.e. not for special occasions, dates etc).
A large part of the buffet is a salad bar with everything you could want. The hot food has a lot of variety – fried chicken, tacos, enchiladas, soups, chili relleno, beans, rice and more. Sodas/horchata/coffee Included in the cost, lots of options. Desserts with many good options.
The options seem small but I had five plates and had different things to try every time. The cornbread was a little dry by itself but with the chili is was great. Multiple salsas to add flavor to anything.
Kind wait staff that refills the food, takes away food that has been sitting out and clears plates from our table quickly. Clean with a comfortable atmosphere. Seating near the buffet or bright seating by the exit. Clean but small restrooms. Will be back again.
