This is the quintessential SD cafe, but with an updated menu and some twists on classics.
Even the presentation was good!
The food was so good, I found myself saying it was better than one of our favorite spots in Aberdeen. Keep up the good work, Lauren.

Lauren knows what she’s doing. She has great experience both working and managing in the food industry and does things right. The food was just as good as Pounders in Aberdeen or better. The place was clean and the glimpses we got of her kitchen were immaculate. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a SD hometown meal – not from a box – made by a real cook.

The cheese curds were excellent. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch, which was also very good, but I was a little surprised by the American cheese on it. I would have expected Swiss if anything. The gal who runs it, Lauren, was very nice, chatty, and took good care of us. All in all, a pleasant small town diner-like restaurant that I would recommend.

Well, we drove 4 hours out of our way by accident and ended up here for lunch. The road out front was getting repaired so when we walked in through the front door they were a bit surprised. We had the reuben, and i got the signature burger. It was basically a big mac but with legit hand pressed patties. Food was amazing. The cook, lady and older gentleman who served us were super friendly. Not sure if id drive 4hrs out of the way just for this place, but if youre driving past, and hungry, you should definitely stop for a bite.
