This is it, voted no.1 Mom and Pop grocery store in Louisiana. Stop in and grab a po boy sandwich. We tried the shrimp po boy and it hit the spot. Prices are fair too!
The inside is decorated with Louisiana Lafayette Ragin Cajuns memorabilia and other old thangs. There is seating inside the restaurant, and another room off to the side. Staff is friendly. Stop by, you won’t regret it.

We ordered their po’boy half fried shrimp half fried catfish. Since they only have catfish po’boy on Friday. I can say shrimp po’boy tastes better than catfish. it’s delicious !

We sampled a po’boy while on a trip with Cajun Food Tours. While I wasn’t able to try a sandwich myself, my husband claimed it was the best one he’s had since we’ve been coming to Louisiana. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is homey and creates a fun atmosphere.

I ordered a whole shrimp po’ boy but could only finish half because they were so big. Even though the place was packed service was swift. Also this place was super affordable and the food was delicious! By far the best po’ boy I’ve had in the Lafayette area, hands down the best!

Really good shrimp po boys. Right texture, excellent frying, flavors are good, just not sure about ketchup on a shrimp po boy. The side of potato fries is enough for two. You can definitely split that.
Definitely gets crowded when it gets busy, but they move the orders really well. There are at least three different eating areas, which alleviates the crowding quite a bit.
Parking is pretty good, considering how close it to a college. Parking on street side and across the road. If you have a trailer, you might have to get creative depending on when you come through.

Had the shrimp poboy (no ketchup) and fries — super delicious. The shrimp are perfectly cooked and seasoned, the bread is delicious! One of the best poboys I’ve ever eaten!
The fries were potato wedges. They were good but I prefer crispy fries.
The atmosphere is cute with memorabilia ALL over the place. Could use a little cleaning…. but cute non the less.
They also have Hubig hand pies. Get some! They are soooo good!

Was visiting and a friend brought us here. Tried the turkey. My friend had the meatball, and both were so delicious. I loved the gravy. The fries (potato wedges) were also perfect. I highly recommend trying it here for fresh food and low prices. My partner and I split a whole one while my friend had a half. The fries were plenty for the 3 of us to share.

Inside are patio heaters to keep you warm. There’s a outside patio. Kind of a maze coming from the back to find the counter to order at. But the shrimp po boy was stuffed with shrimp that was well cooked. The sandwich was big enough for hubby & I to be full. 2 sodas all was just under 20. Bucks. Better than fast food and imoess expensive
