We were happily surprised by the interior. There was a juke box and chalk wall where you can draw or vote for the Wednesday dinner special. Very creative and comfortable. The food was great and the portion sizes were appropriate at a fair price. Erin was a great waitress! We will be back again soon!

This wonderful old-style diner didn’t show up on Google Maps when I searched for restaurants in Leo. We were leaving town to find a restaurant and just happened to spot this place.

Could not have been more pleased with everything about our new favorite place to dine. I tried both soup choices and not only were they delicious they were actually served in a big soup bowl. We had a BLT (with a fried egg in it) with crispy home made potato chips and a patty melt with onion rings. WOW!

All food is prepared from scratch in their spotless kitchen every morning. Other diners reported that they serve the best burgers in the state. Excellent and friendly service and a menu with a huge selection and the things we ordered were prepared and served to perfection. Exactly what we should expect at any restaurant. Everything about this place spoke of love.

My husband and I went in for lunch last Saturday and had a really great experience. He must have enjoyed his strawberry salad as he brought it up the rest of the day. I got the soup, which was also good. Our server said she was new, but you couldn’t tell. She was very pleasant. We expected to leave fuller but not more cheerful. Such a cute little hole in the wall. Five stars from me.

Very much potential. This can be a “go to” place to save a lot of travel time for Leo folks, but…..the people working there are overwhelmed. I ordered a carry out order and arrived at told time as was told another 30 minutes. Waitresses were great and apologized, but I had to drive home based another +30 minute wait. came back and got my order, food was great except……forgot the onion rings. Take ownership and correct the problems and success will follow.

Ok so I work here, so it may be a little biased. There was a difficult transition of ownership at the beginning of the year, and many regular customers left for good during that time. However, I think people are starting to realize that we are back to our former glory now. New menus came out recently, more staff has been hired, and all your previous diner favorites are still cooked to perfection. If you left in anger a few months ago, I suggest you come back and give us another chance, I don’t think you will regret it.

Food was better than your typical small town diner. Sandwiches are large and filling. Visited at lunch and supper on separate days. Waitress was quick based on the size of crowd but kitchen was extremely slow. Nearly 30 min wait for a sandwich basket on both occasions.

The Tenderloin was really good but the fries were cold and soggy. I also ordered banana cream pie and it was not your typical cream pie. Rather than pudding it was more like a gelatin custard with 3 banana slices in the middle. It was very rubbery and did not taste good at all!

The wait staff were quick to great us. The food arrived fairly fast. The fish sandwich was awesome with a nice size portion. Will definitely go back again.

Not real good. They were skimpy with the order of chicken salad. My friend’s soup had to be warmed up more. And a pesky fly bothered us. We think it was just an off day. We have had very good meals there in the past.

If you’re looking for something that seems to have been missing in small town America then you’ve found it. This diner has that mom n pop feel to it without pushing kitschiness, no small feat in my opinion. Atmosphere is everything I want in a dining experience, friendly staff, light music, and an open room feel. The food I had ordered wasn’t exotic by any means (deep fried fish, steak fries and green beans), but it was executed well for what it was. I dared go out of my comfort zone and ordered pie (peanut butter chocolate) and was met with overwhelming sweetness that I could only muster the strength to take two bites of. Should a child come for such a decedent piece of sugary goodness they won’t be disappointed, but for me it was overboard. I left feeling filled (a tall order for this 325 pounder) and the price was as reasonable as to be expected these days. So, again, should you want a meal with a feeling that you’re being served by friends then stop in at this diner, I have little doubt you will enjoy the choice.
