The Most Authentic Chicago Deep Dish Heart and Soul!!!
This review has been one in the works for my husband and I and it should’ve been placed a long time ago. If you’ve never had a deep dish or you’re looking for an Italian spot that satisfies your cravings, then Olde Town is a must visit for deep dish pizzas or Italian food craving satisfaction! My husband and I always get the supreme deep dish, extra crispy with pineapple, and it’s absolutely amazing—it’s even better than the deep dish I used to get at Chicago Fire in California. The staff is amazing!!! They’re extremely friendly and if you’re a constant visitor, they always remember you and your pizza or Italian order by heart. I feel like every time my husband and I visit, they treat us as a part of their family. I’ve found my forever replacement and go-to for my deep dish cravings right here at Olde Town Pizzeria and Pasta Company. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!!!

My only wish is for an improved wine selection. They have house wine and beer but I understand if the market isn’t there, why offer it.

I am beyond upset and deeply disappointed by our experience here. We ordered a deep dish pizza for takeout and picked it up exactly within the 35 minutes they instructed. When we opened the box during dinner time we were shocked — the wax paper and even parts of the cardboard box had melted into the crust and cheese. The heat from the pizza caused it to fuse into the bread, making it completely inedible.
I called the restaurant to explain and even suggested they use tinfoil instead of wax paper next time. The manager was uncaring and dismissive, repeatedly saying it “wasn’t her fault” and that it’s their policy to use wax paper. She clearly didn’t care about the feedback and eventually hung up mid-conversation.
This was not just bad food — it was a total lack of accountability and professionalism. We followed their pickup instructions exactly and were left with unsafe, inedible food and no resolution.
Extremely disappointing experience. Do not order from this place.

Ordered takeout tonight. We have been noticing the full parking lot and had to try. First time trying and everything was delicious. They do a great job with an authentic Chicago style pizza. The meatballs were melt in your mouth good and so flavorful. The spinach bread was FILLED with spinach and very yummy, and the chicken parm was great, too. Good amount of food for the $ these days, too. We will have dinner/lunch for tomorrow. Good job, guys. Thanks for a great dinner.

Came here on a Friday night with some friends who had come here several times before. For me it was my first time. Our party of 7 (on 3 separate checks) got seated right away. Service was spot on.
Friends really hyped up the Que Pasta w/ meat sauce. They all said it was amazing and that the portion size was enough for two meals. My friends got the pepperoni rolls as an appetizer so I got to try one. OMG they were amazing! I could’ve eaten about 6 of those as my main dish. Hot and fresh out of the oven with the perfect crust texture and flavor.
The Que Pasta was good but it was somewhat underwhelming. The meatball and sausage was just OK as far as flavor. I couldn’t even tell it was a meat sauce and yes it was definitely a great size portion that ended up being two meals for me. Not sure I’d get that dish again but I would definitely try the calzone and pizza as those looked really delicious every time they passed by the table.
Definitely a good visit. Great restaurant with great staff in a great location.

Finally! We have been looking for good pizza and boy did we find it. The zucchini fries and meatballs as starters were wonderful. Then came the deep dish and thin crust pizzas. Fresh ingredients and top notch mozzarella cheese. This will be where we take company when visiting from out of town.

How very disappointing! We have been going here for years and typically are very happy with the food and experience but things have changed. We always order a loaded pizza but since I only like mushrooms on my half, we always ask that the other toppings (which you are paying for as they will understandably charge for a whole loaded pizza) be put on the loaded 1/2 of the pizza. This has never been an issue in the past.
During our most recent visit we were told that whether or not that happens is at the discretion of the server/kitchen and that if we wanted the toppings (that we are already paying for) placed on only 1/2 of the pizza that was an additional charge. What? Does that make any sense at all?
I thought that I might have caught the manager on a bad night so I waited a few weeks and called to ask what the store policy was. I am pretty sure I ended up speaking to the same manager that we spoke to when the incident occurred and I was told that absolutely was their policy.
We are so disappointed that after being a loyal customer for years that tossing the ingredients (that you are already paying for) on only 1/2 the pizza instead of the whole pizza was against store policy and counted as a “substitution”. Will not be back. 🙁

I’m not a fan of this place. I don’t like the atmosphere of the old fashioned decor, and there really isn’t anything that stands out. However, the service is good. They got our food out in time and it’s in a good value.
However, I was dissatisfied with the temperature of my pizza, and it tasted fine, but not very special. I liked the calzone better due to the more flavor and the texture. I don’t think this place is bad, but there’s definitely room for improvement. Overall, don’t recommend.

This place is a Keeper! Food was great and portions are what I expect from an Italian restaurant and being Italian. I ordered the Que Pasta. Meatballs are worth bragging about, the sausage is exceptional. Not fatty, not dry spot on. The appetizer was the pepperoni rolls. Very good and more than enough for 3 people. Our server Brande was excellent, attentive and pleasant. We did not have to ask her for anything or have to flag her down. I highly recommend this restaurant
