Olde Silver Tavern is a very nice place.
The place has an abundance of pleasant staff. The guest will be very well serviced.
The food is good and the serving size is very large and fresh.
The prices are reasonable especially with that kind of service.
The have a lovely fireplace which gives to the atmosphere. The decor is inviting and refreshing.
The parking plentiful with several handicapped spots. Yet, the restaurant itself is not wheelchair friendly. To get into the restaurant there are 2 minor steps.
Would definitely go back again.

An amazing place!! Our first time and overjoyed! What a great pre New Years Eve spot to get the party started!! The drink menu was impressive. If you couldn’t find something, then water is your go to lol.
The menu was overwhelmingly delicious! So hard to make a single choice!! Looks like we will just have to revisit a few times until we’ve had everything we loved. Thank you for a great experience. First impressions are A++

Visited Olde Silver Tavern in Manalapan on a Saturday around 12:30 PM. It was busy when we arrived and packed by the time we left. Service was excellent — shoutout to Jeremiah, who was attentive and friendly.
Food:
• Kids Chicken Tenders & Fries – Standard, nothing special. My 13-year-old finished it quickly.
• Cobb Salad – Fresh but basic. Lettuce was cut into squares; not a dealbreaker, just odd.
• Margherita Pizza – Looked great but tasted bland. Sauce had no real flavor.
• Tavern Burger w/ “Whipped” Potatoes – Looked nice, but both burger and potatoes lacked seasoning.
• Prime Rib Sandwich – The star of the meal. Great bread, generous meat, excellent horseradish sauce. Could’ve been cooked a touch rarer.
• Onion Rings – Thick, crispy, and perfectly fried.
• Desserts – Cheesecake with berries and a sprinkle cake; both fine, cheesecake was better.
For six people, the bill came to just under $180, which felt high for a casual lunch. The atmosphere and service were great, but the food didn’t quite match the price.
Overall: Great service, average food, nice atmosphere — just not sure it’s worth $30 a person for lunch.

Went the day before Halloween and they really went all out with decorations! I also enjoyed my pizza with the pumpkin topping. I’m not a fan of clowns, but I applaud their efforts. Service was great. I would come back, no clowns next time.

The waitress was lovely and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, especially the dining room side. While the cheesesteak eggs rolls were pretty good once you dipped it in the chipotle aioli and my husband enjoyed his turkey club, my entree was terrible. I ordered Nina’s Bolognese and it tasted like cafeteria food, as if someone had cooked unseasoned ground beef in a pan, dumped in a can of crushed tomatoes, shook some Kraft grated Parmesan on it, gave it a mix, and called it bolognese. Not an ounce of seasoning to be had, nor the bechamel the menu stated would top the dish. Definitely not worth $24.
I should have known we were in trouble when there were no salt or pepper shakers on the table. In my experience, that’s never been a good sign. Those would have also come in handy for the kettle chips that came with my husband’s sandwich, which were tasteless and needed the whole little cup of ketchup to be edible.
In summary, their food is very underseasoned, if seasoned at all. I really really wanted to like this place and the service/ambiance were great. I’m sure it’s a good place to watch a game on Sunday and have a beer with some apps, but it’s not really a place worth eating a meal.

First time here, since it was re-done. Huge difference! The place looks great. Spacious dining areas & really big bar area. There was an area for private parties. The bathroom was even clean. We didn’t order much to eat, but the cheesesteak egg rolls were very good. It was typical cheesesteak meat, but still very yummy. Went for happy hour(s) & they had a lot to offer. Sat at the bar & service was very good, but we were there early. I look forward to going back & trying more food.

Picked up Thanksgiving togo meal for two for the first time since opening the new place, dad and I walked in oh my god totally different. I asked the girls where is the arcade machine?They didn’t know (I’m not that old) Opened up the meal tray and it looked like a one person meal so got ripped off, called said they said partial refund on the card hopefully by Monday and asked for two small pumpkin pies we got something else. The desk girl I guess was talking to someone else while taking the order. Looks like I gotta go back and check out the place.

Had a family brunch event at Old Silver Tavern a couple weeks ago on a Sunday. We were very pleased with everything. Danielle helped us reserve the space a couple weeks prior. She was professional and responsive to all our questions. Olivia and Alexa were our servers, they were excellent. Attentive to our guests, efficient and friendly. The food was excellent. First time having brunch at OST and was a little nervous ahead of time. All of our guests (25 people) thoroughly enjoyed their food. Everything came out hot and fresh. I would highly recommend OST !!!

I’ve been here a couple of times and it’s always amazing. Tonight I had dinner reservations with my family and what stood out the most was the service. Eddie C was our server and we’ve had him before. He is so patient and always smiling even with my family who is sometimes hard to please LOL. Tonight’s orders were mainly fish due to Lent and they did not disappoint! Cocktails here are always bomb as well. Overall it was a great dinner especially because of Eddie’s hospitality!

Came here with a big group (over 20 people) after a baseball game and at first things looked really promising. The place is decorated nicely, has plenty of parking, and they were able to seat us in about 20 minutes (kids at one table, adults split across two). Definitely a good start and something I appreciated.
Service ended up being on the slower side though. It took about 25 minutes before our orders were taken, which wasn’t easy with a bunch of hungry kids. We even tried to make it easier by organizing the checks by the kids’ uniform numbers, but that seemed like a foreign concept, which was surprising since the tavern is literally a couple minutes from the town park where baseball, soccer, and football are always going on.
Food-wise, my prime rib sandwich was a letdown, pretty tasteless, which was disappointing. Overall, the place has potential with the vibe and setup, but the execution just didn’t match. Not sure if I’d come back, but hoping they can improve because it really does seem like it could be a great spot.
