After 6 hours of driving we stooped for gas and decided to grab some lunch. We were surrounded by fast food restaurants but drove by this little place with a plain sign. Rocking chairs on the porch with a packed parking lot drew us in. They had a Sunday buffet with good home cooked comfort food but we chose to order off the menu. Prices in cash and credit card were listed. I had the chicken salad plate and my husband had the chicken sandwich with fries. Excellent! Our bill was only $26.00.

Choice of Buffett or menu. Buffet is small but packs a heavy punch. BBQ gold chicken was my favorite. Rest was just as good all set in a small house atmosphere. Tea and coffee was included in the price.

Great experience!

If you’re looking for an old-fashioned place to eat, I guess this is it. String beans are canned. If you are looking for an old-fashioned place to eat, I guess this is it. Simple fried shrimp was good, biscuits were hard, gravy was ok, grits were all right, salad was OK. Fried fish was OK. Nothing special. Please note there’s not much choices. This is a very small buffet.
Fried chicken was pretty good considering I love Kentucky fried chicken but their chicken was not as greasy and it was tasty. The best thing that they had was a chocolate with cream topping dessert.
I guess the locals are OK with this type of place but it really is old-fashioned and not for me. I thought $22 plus tip was way overpriced for this place.
No, I would not go back.

This is a cute “hole in the wall” place! We stopped and got breakfast. My hubby had the “hungry man” plate and I had the chicken omelette. They were delicious! You won’t come here for fancy dining, but the food is amazing!

I wouldn’t bother unless the regular menu is better.. My husband and I were traveling up north and saw this place. We love mama and papa places so we were excited. The girl asked Buffett or menu. I didn’t know that the only meat in the buffet was fried chicken. Really. The sides looked like they were sitting for a long time. As I looked up the prices it is not what we paid. On their site says $11 each plus 1.95 for soda. We paid $39. So I was confused. I left a tip at the table so I then thought maybe they added that too. We will not be going back.

One of our go to places when traveling south on I-95. Great buffet but you can order off the menu too. Fried Chicken and the cheesiest Mac and Cheese ever, are as good as you’ll find anywhere! Highly recommended. Plan your trip to be there for lunch!

We enjoyed the breakfast old style food. Ypu can ask them to cook it to your desired taste. Loved the home made fried potato’s. Buffet looked great, we wished we had more time to taste the home made buffet.

Before 3… biscuits were hard. $47 plus$1 for using a debit card for 7 biscuits,a side of banana pudding ( to go), and two buffets ( ate in). Prices are not posted : they just type in a price/ this is gouging at its best. I will never return as this was the alternative to Duke’s Barbecue on a Monday.

This was a nice lunch experience at a restaurant that’s not a national chain by the national chains restaurant across the street at a similar launch for 8 plus tax.
