Maybe we got here on an off day. I was so excited to try this out based on the reviews and recommendations. We were in town visiting Hocking Hills. It was hot inside and smelled like a nursing home, our waiter was okay but we didn’t really know the protocol. If you’re old enough to remember old country buffet, this place wasn’t as good. The pie was yummy though. unfortunately we won’t be going back.

One of my favorite gems in Ohio to swing by with friends and family. Enjoy the BUFFET which includes a variety of home cooked foods like stuffing, broccoli cheddar bake, sweet potato casserole, baked fish, roast beef, giant fries chicken pieces, green bean casserole, and all the dishes you’d find at a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
Your buffet experience includes a robust salad bar, choice of several soups like enchilada soup, potato soup, and beef stew (all three were decision!) and a full lineup of pies! For a $1.99 extra, they’ll even throw a scoop of ice cream on top upon request.
The perfect spot for a large or small group, or even a solo lunch or dinner, family-friendly atmosphere, very clean (they even provide hand sanitizer and gloves next to the food), cute gift shop, conveniently located right off the freeway after some good hiking in Hocking County or looking for antique treasures next door, or between Sunday church and grocery shopping at Weavers Market or Walmart across the street.
Special shoutout to our amazing server Kayleigh. Her smile is like sunshine and made us feel welcome even before I knew she was taking care of us. Sorry boys, I asked, and she’s already taken 🙂

We got the buffet, and for $17 it didn’t offer much. But the items it did offer were not bad. Service was amazing! Very kind.

This is one of my favorite spots in Ohio. The buffet is a must have with several different options. All of the options are equally delicious and tasty. I’ve never had any bad food or bad experience anytime I visited. Dessert is included with the buffet. There’s several cute shops and activities nearby so after you’re done eating, you can go and do something fun to burn off all those calories from the buffet, lol. I definitely think it’s worth the trip to visit and everyone is so friendly and nice.

We just recently visited Hocking Hills and we stopped in here for the breakfast buffet. It was amazing! The food was so fresh and delicious! We were so impressed, we had to try the dinner buffet the next day. Again, absolutely delicious! As another post stated, the brussel sprouts were the best I have ever had! Fair price and cute gift shop! Would definitely recommend!

Such a cool, easygoing spot! The kind of place that doesn’t try too hard but gets everything right. The food is consistently good—simple, flavorful, and exactly what you’re hoping for. The prices are fair too, which makes it even better because you can enjoy a solid meal without feeling like you overspent. What really stands out, though, are the people. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and you can tell there’s a strong local following. It feels like a community hangout in the best way. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or sitting down to relax for a while, it just feels comfortable. It’s one of those places you recommend to friends because you know they’ll like it.

Food was hot and awesome but the buffet had a lot mess and someone needs to be wiping it off more regularly. The chicken noodles were good but real egg noodles would’ve made it better. The rolls were perfection. Can definitely tell the chicken is breaded on site, some bearly had any breading, bas juicy and delicious.
On a Saturday at 1pm the place was packed. Only saw one empty table when we got seated. Sam our waitress was very friendly and removed the plates quickly.

Food was good, $17.49 buffet.
They kept it stocked. Rolls were great! Brussel sprouts delicious!
Pies were cold and nasty! Not homemade, the blueberry pie was disgusting!
Bathroom had pee all over the seat! It smelled like urine in the bathroom 🙁

We got the buffet. They had a good selection. The salad was so fresh and had lots of options to make it just like you wanted. The hot food section was great too. The chicken was amazing as was the noodles and dinner rolls. I was pleasantly surprised that the desserts were part of the buffet. We’ve been to ones that you had to pay for dessert separately but here it was part of the cost. They didn’t offer sugar free desserts but did have one apple pie with no added sugar. The parking lot was huge. They have large tables as well as small so they could accommodate any size party. Our waitress was wonderful and very friendly. They also have a little shopping area out where you pay your bill.

Their buffet has seriously saved me on more than one lazy day — it’s the perfect “don’t feel like cooking” spot. I can’t get enough of their Brussels sprouts; they’re cooked just right and always hit the spot. The best part is the vibe — cozy, welcoming, and full of friendly smiles. You can grab a plate, wander around a bit, and just relax while enjoying your food. It’s one of those spots where the environment makes the meal feel even better. Whether I’m stopping by solo or with friends, it’s always a good time. Honestly, I look forward to it because it’s comforting, easy, and delicious all at once. Definitely a favorite in my rotation.
