We arrived a few minutes before 11 a.m., got seated right away, and parking was no issue. The service was friendly and quick.
We started with Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls and Deviled Eggs — both were delicious. The egg rolls were crispy with great flavor, and the deviled eggs had bacon on top and a mild taste that anyone would enjoy.
My wife ordered Mom’s Meatloaf, which came sliced over mashed potatoes and green beans with gravy — moist, flavorful, and comforting. I had their signature Braveheart Fish & Chips, which they’ve apparently been serving for 14 years and is their best seller (according to the menu), and now I see why. The fish was fried perfectly, golden and crispy, with great fries and tartar sauce.
Even the bathroom fit the theme, with a Braveheart movie poster. Overall, it’s a fun and unique pub with great food, service, and atmosphere. I’m already planning to come back to try their BLT and Monte Cristo sandwich. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for good food and a fun experience in Milton.

Update to my last review: Still have only good things to say about Olde Blind Dog! Came back last week with 2 friends and everyone enjoyed the food. This time I had the Short Rib Quesadilla with the Guinness Onion Soup. Both were delicious, however I cannot stress enough how incredibly DELICIOUS the soup was! The BEST onion soup I have ever had! It was awesome! One of my dining companions had the Bangers and Mash and the other chose the grilled Grouper Sandwich, which was a special that evening. No complaints from either one. We ended the evening sharing the Bailey’s Cheesecake, which I was so excited about that I forgot to take a photo – enough said. 😉
It was a fun night with good food and good friends!
First, the service and the bar staff are friendly and attentive, and the set up of the pub gives you that old world pub feel so many US pubs just don’t take the time to execute. They make it a great neighborhood regular spot as well as a must to visit pub.
The Guinness is poured perfectly, the scotch and Irish whiskey selection is extensive, the traditional Irish fare is on par with what I’ve had in Ireland, the sandwiches crush, and the pub cheese dip and pretzel bread is not your average pub dip, and I have yet to find one comparable elsewhere. I mean, seriously, this dip haunts my dreams.
The service has always been great.
I highly recommend the meat loaf sandwich and the clam chowder. They are my favorites. Full bar which is well stocked. I can say my party was not impressed with the fish and chips. The fish coating was very greasy, perhaps the oil was not hot enough but with all the other options this wasn’t a big deal.
If your in the area definitely visit this pub. I highly recommend it.
The Mom’s Meatloaf was made with a ground beef and lamb blend, served over mashed potatoes and topped with a Guinness BBQ sauce.
The Bangers and Mash is a true pub staple. It came with three pork sausage bangers served on top of mashed potatoes and peas and topped with brown gravy. You will want more gravy than what was served with it. Trust.
Then comes the classic Corned Beef and Cabbage. The Corned Beef is perfectly tender and served with beer braised cabbage, potatoes and carrots. Braising the vegetables in beer gave them an added sweetness.
Our server, Matt, was friendly and quick.
Everything here was so good, but again we could be bias because how much we love and miss Ireland, but this was a great filler until we get back!
