I was in the area and stopped in to The Old World Deli. I heard many good things about this Mom and Pop Polish restaurant and wanted to give them a try.
Upon entering I noticed that there are two sections. On the left side of the store you have all imported Polish goods for sale like pickles, sauerkraut, pickled vegetables and candy and more. There is a deli counter upfront where you can buy homemade kielbasa and other Polish meats, sandwiches, and cold cuts.
On the right side of the restaurant there are some tables for dining and you can walk up to the front and place your order.
You’re greeted by some friendly Polish women. It looked like a mother and her daughter’s who worked there. It was a Monday and one woman was making stuffed cabbage for the Tuesday crowd in the back. I was watching her hand make each one while I waited my turn to order. The lady in the back smiled at me.
They have all types of hot entrées like potato pancakes, braised beef, Polish sausage sautéed with onions,noodles mixed and sautéed with cabbage, a type of Polish gnocchi is the best way to describe it and more. They also sell five different types of pierogies and you can even get the Polish sausage a.k.a. kielbasa on a sandwich with onions.
I wanted to try several different dishes.I placed my ordered for braised beef, 4 potato pancakes, 5 cheese, onion, and potato pierogies, noodles with cabbage, and Polish sausage with onions. I shared everything with my mom. A nice woman brought us the food to our table.
Near the entrance they have a large jug with lemon water you can help yourself. There is also Polish Merch for sale. They sell several types of homemade breads, imported Polish drinks, beers, etc..
I must say this is the real deal. The braised beef is a must. It was so fork tender it melted in my mouth. The potato pancakes were excellent large in size, crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. I added sour cream on top of mine. The sautéed noodles, and cabbage was delicious it had some kind of spice that added to its goodness. The Polish sausage, a.k.a. kielbasa was outstanding. It had so much flavor.Next time when I come, I’m going to try it on a sandwich. Someone next to me ordered that and it looks so good. The pierogies were good too..
I was so full I couldn’t finish everything and gave my mom the leftovers.
There is free parking out front and on the side.
I would definitely recommend this place if you want authentic homemade Polish food made from scratch with love.

Broad selection. Delicious hot food options! I loved the kielbasa sandwich, stuffed cabbage and pierogies. Meat stuffed crêpe and potato pancake were very good as well.

Nice selection of meats, sausage and other items, some frozen. Nice people especially for accepting my poor attempt at Polish I knew from years before. Also jars, and cans and dry goods as well. I got 4 lbs of sausage and a jar of mushroom sauerkraut. Will update when consumed. Parking a bit tight, not sure if there is more.
Oh yeah. Excellent polish and garlic sausage. Finally a place where I can get high quality items that the big store brands could never equal. Mushroom sauerkraut good as well. Oh forgot to mention they have a dining section for the hot food you can purchase. We will return.

This place is the best! Reminds me of childhood flavors and great Polish food growing up in a Polish community decades ago in the Calumet City/Chicago area and hard to find good fresh traditional Polish cuisine in south Florida so I appreciate this little place! . They have a grocery store/deli with the best traditional smoked kielbasa (Outlaw Kielbasa is my favorite), yummy home made frozen Pierogis and soups or you can get yummy baked goods ( I always pick up fresh Kolachki cookies because they taste like homemade but so much easier to let them do the baking ). If you want a meal to go or sit down and eat they make Great fresh sandwiches that are full of meat and fresh ingredients or delicious hot soups or refreshing chill borscht or beet soups and a selection of hot , fresh homemade Polish foods ready to eat.
Prices are great, great service , they are a clean bright little place to grab food ready to eat or ingredients take home and cook. A gem of a place.

First time customer and LOVE this market, truly a hidden gem. The prices are fair and the food absolutely delicious. Highly recommend stopping in, without a doubt you will find something interesting to try. Homemade pickles, apple sauce, bakery, and variety of cheese/meats in their in-house deli.

These were the best homemade pierogies we’ve ever had! We really liked the sauerkraut and mushroom stuffed ones. Originally, we were just going to do pickup, but we grabbed a few more things to try (sausage, potato pancakes, and a fermented bread soft drink) and everything was delicious! Everyone was friendly and helpful too. It was nice to have a little dining area within the shop by the windows with reusable plates and utensils (not entirely pictured). We are visiting from Ohio and wish we had this deli in Columbus!
