Today I want to share my experience of the salad pizza I ordered at this restaurant. Believe me, this is the most delicious salad pizza I have ever had!
The crust is absolutely amazing — it tastes like they add ricotta or some kind of soft cheese to the dough, and there is even more cheese on top. It’s incredibly delicious! And the salad is not just simple lettuce and vegetables — it’s a full, well-dressed salad with great flavor.
I live in Norwalk, but whenever I’m in Trumbull, I always make sure to order this pizza.

This spot is right inside the plaza where stop and shop is. Has plenty of parking. The inside has definitely changed a lot since my last visit as far as lighting goes, last time I was inside it looked really dark but not the dining area is very bright now which is great. The food never disappoints either.
I always try to stop in here every now & then after my appointment after I visit my doctor especially in the morning. The food is great as well as the staff too. It’s definitely a vibe like a diner, you can sit anywhere & someone will be right with you.

Ate here yesterday as part of a private party. Quick, friendly service, excellent food quality and portion size, owner was present on site and checked on our group from time to time. The eggplant rotini was excellent – it looked heavy but ended up being perfect. Others had the chicken and stuffed sole and were also very positive. Nice ambience.

Old Towne makes throwing a party so easy, we use them for all of our catering needs and pick up a pizza every Friday too! Their pepper and onion pizza is so good! Everyone loves the salmon piccata from the catering menu too, we always grab a tray for a party!

I got the chicken piccata for dinner and when i cut into it, it was still pink so i sent it back. Our waiter and the host told me it’ll be a couple minutes and they were making a fresh one. But when they returned the play it was the same exact piece of chicken, just cooked for a little longer, which is a food violation. The sauce was also slimy and gooey like it wasn’t fresh and there was egg around the chicken from when it was battered but it made scrambled eggs on the chicken.. I lost my appetite. And they still charged us for it. However, the waiter was great and he was helpful. But that chef needs to be retrained or something. We won’t be eating here again.

Neighborhood diner type of restaurant. We were seated right away, but had an unusual wait time to be acknowledged by the many wait staff that walked passed. When the waiter came to the table he was very friendly and accommodating. We both had Eggs Benadict, mine had “home made” crab cakes. I find that hard to believe since the crab cakes were very good and the eggs were over cooked on both plates. Hard to believe they can’t cook a poached egg properly, but could make a crab cake. Since it is a neighborhood diner, I give them the benefit of the doubt, and may return to try something other than breakfast.

Asked for no coleslaw, got coleslaw. Fries were cold and undercooked though they replaced them when I asked. Burger tasted somewhat burned somehow – unsure if it was the bun or the bacon. We were given dirty plates. Atmosphere is loud and not overly comfortable.

We went for brunch at this restaurant on a Saturday. We arrived around 11:45am. The place wasn’t that busy & were sat promptly. I ordered mimosas & it came in a big wine class. That should have been a clue. My dish was equally awful. The place was kind of empty; maybe it was a clue except for the private party. Lastly the food was really bad. We will not return .

I moved to town 18 months ago, this was my first time eating here. I ordered take out on St Paddy’s. The menu was amazing, I was told 20 minutes and it took about 45, it was a holiday and they were slammed so it’s all good. The food was good, yes, it did taste/look rushed likely based on the traffic they had, but I would eat here again. They had a short rib grilled cheese, pretty much a stack of short ribs with melted cheddar… The ribs were amazing though. Large portions and an amazing Irish cream mousse cake. Corned beef was cooked perfectly too.

This place is extremely unprofessional. They had an event going on in the back, which I understand may have kept them busy, but that’s no excuse for completely ignoring paying customers. My husband and I sat there while waiters walked past us over and over as if we didn’t exist. It wasn’t until I loudly said “excuse me” that someone finally acknowledged us, and even then, I was given an attitude like I was bothering them just for wanting service. Absolutely unacceptable. I will never come back here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
