A wonderful Italian restaurant in Jackson. The Stuffed Mushrooms are a must have to start things off. The Chicken Florentine was delicious! The lasagna was good but the pasta was a little over cooked.
I sat at the bar and had quick, courteous, and fantastic service. I will be back again soon.

I ordered the sirloin with mushrooms and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy. The sirloin tasted like a burnt hamburger patty, the mashed potatoes were great. My girl ordered spaghetti and the sauce is just tomatoes and water . The bread with butter is great! Server was amazing, atmosphere was amazing, but food needs some real love and affection. 2 star for me.

Gone down hill from my last visit. Visited on a Saturday night we were sat down in a tiny booth. Not even room to set my jacket so we hung our jackets on an empty chair next to our table and we were promply ask to move them. Of course, I was more than happy to accommodate. So I politely asked where the coat closet was. “Sorry we don’t have one”. Just to add, they were not busy. Minus one for atmosphere and minus one for service. Instead of a nice menu with illustrations of beautifully prepared meals, we were greeted with paper menus you’d expect at a lunch experience at a carry out. I mean, even waffle House has laminated menus with pictures. I’m going to make the best of it so I looked for a drink menu and there wasn’t one. So I waited for the server so I could look at one. I was then explained that they only have drink menus for alcohol “is that what you want?” Yes please. We ordered the stuffed mushroom appetizer and I finally got my beer and we decided to hold off ordering until we tried the appetizer. Glad we did. Horrible. Rubbery tough mushrooms that were not fit to eat. I don’t know what happened to this place but it’s a far cry from my past experiences. The empty parking lot should have been a warning. Whatever you guys have done or whoever you ran off, I don’t know but you better undo it soon. I can’t see a future for this place if our experience becomes the norm.

Extremely disappointing experience at Old Town Spaghetti Store for my birthday. I’ve been here many times, but after this visit, I will never go back.
We arrived at 3:00 PM after an hour-long drive with a party of 11. We were quoted a 25-30 minute wait. For the next half hour, we watched smaller parties walk in and get seated immediately while multiple empty tables sat open—tables that could have easily been pushed together for us. After 30 minutes, we were told it would be another 20-minute wait.
I worked as a server for years, so I understand how restaurants operate, but this was poorly managed. Since they do not take reservations, I asked to speak to the manager to calmly suggest implementing a reservation system for larger groups. I was not loud or rude, but the manager continually cut me off and spoke down to me.
We left without eating. If you have a group larger than 4-6 people, take your business elsewhere.

Was a awesome server Johnny on the spot above all and beyond kind , warmheart,
but the food needs a real chefs touch the Alfredo was transparent no flavor no spice the lasagna was no flavor no spice pesto soup was bland no heat not hot
The dessert was delicious
But come on Italian is supposed to taste like you your in Rome or Italy sorry 1 from or even a half of star come on get your game up or this place won’t last …
Unless you don’t care the waiters and management and host and bartenders were immaculate but the food was dreadful.
Everyone keep up the great work yall deserve a raise cause if it wasn’t for the workers this restraunt would fail finito , finish , kaput, should I go on ….

Relatively close 2 Italian in chicago area…sauce light on flavor..basil, etc. Mild. Alfredo decent. Bread good. Salad needs more. dip with chips …more chips outweigh dip.
