This is by far the best breakfast affordable place to visit. These two ladies that work there from Guatemala Are amazing. Their level of customer service is beyond exceptional And I am big on customer service. They give you motivational feedback.

I ordered an egg and cheese scrambled on a croissant. Let me explain to you how good the sandwiches, it’s light and buttery it’s fluffy, The croissant is fresh. The egg is not salty. Overall, this will be my only place to visit for breakfast in the Alexandria Virginia area. It is actually the only breakfast place that I will visit anywhere, if I am in the DMV.

Got called out to Alexandria to do a last minute installation haven’t eaten all day needed a quick bite got the chicken and avocado per the employees recommendation with A Martinelli’s apple juice and some honey Sriracha kettle chips at 3:45 15 min to close and they still made it fast and treated me nice despite me walking in late I tipped them 20% for that kindness

Went to restaraunt 2 minutes before closing and they allowed me to come in and order! Very sweet employees with great customer service.! I ordered a deli sandwhich on sourdough bread very good. My aunt had the tuna salad it was delicious and fresh!!!!

Visiting Alexandria as I had not been there in many years. Of course I went to Old Town. While there I checked on line for places to get local food to support the locals given one of my good friends( Rest In Peace ) from college grew up there. Old Town Sandwich Shop came up. Very unfriendly person made our sandwiches. Very little meat on a turkey sub. One slice of tomato some lettuce and onion. A half slice of very thin Swiss cheese. Could barely see the cheese through the scarce bit of meat. Maybe they only take care of local people and take advantage of visitors. Sad but really you should put your best foot forward at all times. Come visit our town and we will show you how to make a Real sandwich that will make you want to come back. Spent 17 dollars for two sandwiches to go at this place for mostly a roll with mayo, a few slices of low quality turkey and missing cheese. So sad. Next time we will go to a Chain like Subway and not try to support the smaller shops.

A locally owned spot. Tons of food options. Super friendly staff. I was greeted when I walked in. I explained it was my first visit, and the entire menu was patiently explained to me. I asked for a few substitutions, and they were very adaptable. The fruit was fresh. I love it and will definitely be back.

Why I love this place: caring staff & owner, great sandwiches & homemade food, and fair prices. Haven’t been able to get out much this past year–looking forward to visiting Old Town Sandwich Shop soon.
Their hours are a little different: they were closed an hour early when I went by last week.
Worth a visit–you won’t be disappointed.
