We have been to this pizza place before when traveling… and it was great! Tonight, not so much. Even though I watched the guy take the pizza out of the oven, slice it, and bring it right too us… it seemed cold. Maybe the ovens had gotten cold. Anyway… not great tonight.

The pizza is fantastic but the people not so much so if you come here trust nobody they just might con you into buying something and just make it their own and forget about calling anyone to help kind of like a horror film from Stephen King CALL JDANDCHRISTINAJAMESTOWN!!!! SERIOUSLY

Today we went to the pizza place and i noticed no one had posted the menu. So, i took the initiative to do so. We got a couple slices of pizza and some deserts. All were very good and the pizza was just the right with everything. However, the only problem i have with the place is the wait time for getting pizza, if your getting slices, it shouldn’t take to long, but get a small like mine, and you’ll have to wait for like 20 mins. Otherwise, i love the signed pizza boxes on the wall and the look!

Just left Old Time Pizza in Kearny. Great pizza, friendly service, fun atmosphere. The place was busy with dine in and take out orders so the wait time was a little extended but we did not mind. We took a stroll to check out some of the local businesses.
When we arrived our pizza was ready. The pizza had fresh toppings and good quality cheese. We were given red chili flakes and Parmesan cheese which is a usual accompanyments at most pizza places but here they also provide a bottle of ranch dressing!!! Most places you will have to pay $1.00 or more for a small cup of ranch.
When we were heading out I got a chance to thank the staff for the food and service. Shane shared a brief history of Old Time Pizza and I was able to share a story with him about the time I was the Galaga champion of Kearny about 25 years ago.
I recommend Old Time Pizza when you are in Kearny. Great hard working friendly staff, great pizza, and cool fun retro atmosphere.

Excellent pizza with friendly staff. You could tell from the items on the walls they have been in business for quite awhile. I’d only recommend continuing to ad to the history on the walls for a breath of fresh air into the decor.
