This is my go to place for my teenager and myself. The music is great, the atmosphere open, and the pizza divine. Do not come here if you’re looking for a NY Style pizza – much more ITALIAN! Fresh basil and motzrella on the “Margherita”. The “Angry Bee-Keeper” adds a bit of heat with the hot honey. The hummus the best I’ve had in the area. Prices are very reasonable.

I’ve been coming to Old Scratch, primarily the Centerville location, for about 6 years now, probably at least 7-8 visits year. I’ve signed up for their rewards program. Normally very happy with the service, quality of food, atmosphere.
Last visit, not so. I went for a late lunch during the week, so not busy at all. Ordered at the counter at 1:05 pm, was order #43. Sat down, opened up my laptop to work while I waited. Around 1:33 pm, realized I still had no pizza, while orders #55 and above were having theirs delivered to the table. Approached staff, who went to check with the kitchen – they must have somehow just completely missed my order, or maybe marked it complete after bringing out my side salad, without ever making the pizza. Finally received mine at 1:37 pm, and then had to rush eating it to be at my next appointment on time.
I submitted this information through their online contact form, hoping for some sort of response, an offer to make up for this, and have heard nothing. While it won’t necessarily stop me from going again in the future, I am disappointed with the lack of acknowledgement or response.

I finally tried Old Scratch Pizza, and it did not disappoint! Their pepperoni pizza was absolutely perfect…. crispy, slightly charred crust with just the right chew, a rich, tangy sauce, and plenty of high quality pepperoni that had those perfect little crispy edges. Every bite was packed with flavor.
The garlic bread was just as impressive… warm, buttery, and loaded with garlic goodness. The perfect side to go with the pizza!
If you’re a fan of top-notch, wood-fired pizza, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Food is very good, wonderful if you enjoy thin crust pizza or oven fired pizza in general. While I haven’t gotten the chance to try their large alcoholic beverage selection, I’ve heard great things. Overall a wonderful experience especially in groups but also caters to a single dinning experience.

the pizza is bigger than I expected so don’t order if you expect it to work for one person. the dough or I guess underside of pizza is honestly dry but the sauce makes up for that. unlimited refills. they display sports.

It was my first time here, I wanted to try it because of food intolerance issues. I saw they have gluten free, dairy free options and wanted to try it. They did it disappoint! The service was great, they were helpful and the atmosphere was great! The music was good, and the food was amazing! We got the shroom pizza dairy and gluten free. It was so delicious! I also got the roasted cauliflower. They have vegan and vegetarian options as well. Will definitely be back!

This isn’t my first visit to Old Scratch Pizza, and it won’t be my last. We came in for lunch, today. I ordered an Apple wood Bacon Ranch salad, which was different for me as I am a huge fan of their Greek or Mediterranean salad and I always get that. I never order more than a half salad and I always get the same reaction when it comes out, it’s such a large salad!!
Made with applewood bacon, veggies, croutons, and ranch it’s such a good salad. And it’s a really pretty salad, though I admit most of their salads come out looking pretty. I appreciate that the salad comes in a half size and a full. Half is perfect for me, I even take some home. I also appreciate the it comes with bread. It is a nice addition.
My husband got his usual, the “Dayton” which is pepperoni and cheese. He adds meatballs for that extra touch. It’s a very tasty pizza. Handmade and cooked in a brick oven style oven. You get a crust and flavor that only comes from this style of an oven. I usually sneak a bite, and it’s just a good pizza. One of my favorites ever.
