We recently used the Old School Tavern for a reunion-style event and it was the perfect place. The location was spacious, it had a variety of seating and places to socialize, and was easy to customize for our needs. The owner was great to work with from start to finish, very accommodating and responsive to every request. We brought our own sound and video setup, and he made sure everything went smoothly. The bar and wait staff were fantastic. They were friendly, attentive, and kept the food table well-stocked all night. Highly recommend the Old School Tavern for anyone planning a gathering or special event!

What a nice surprise. Being from out of town, we weren’t certain what to expect but this establishment was so fun, friendly, and the food was excellent. Not a huge menu, but what they do, they do well. Everything is hand breaded..from the shrimp to the chicken tenders. It’s a little smokey inside but the food and fun make up for it. If we lived here, we’d become regulars.

My husband and I went here for the first time on Saturday night to see the band. We sat at the bar and ate and had a few cocktails and will definitely be returning. Great food, great service and great music. Definitely worth checking out!
Returned to this bar on Friday 01/02 and joined my friend at a table. I ordered a drink and waited 15 minutes and then just decided to go to the bar and get my own drink from the bartender. That was definitely the way to go! She never disappoints! The band was great again I just recommend going to the bartender for service. Much better and faster!

Cool place but too small. If they have a decent band playing there’s no chance of finding a table. Website says they don’t reserve tables, which is a good policy, but half the tables were reserved with no one sitting there.

I went here for a Thursday night $5 burgers and dirty Bingo night. Though I didn’t win at Bingo and my vegan Beyond Burger wasn’t included in the special $5 price, I had a great experience. The staff are very cordial and helpful, the environment is very welcoming and friendly, and the food and drinks were great. I recommend this place and I’ll be back again soon.

The food was absolutely delicious, I had the Philly Cheese steak sandwich with fries, my wife had the Quesadillas and mac and cheese. Really enjoyed the live music, the Night Owls were playing and are great. Had a wonderful time, the only negative thing was the service, if was very slow.

Do yourself a favor and check this locally owned bar and grill out! Great place to hang out with a relaxed atmosphere and great vibe for everyone! The live bands on the weekends are always a fun time where the dance floor stays full! It’s also a great place to catch the games on Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday! The food and drinks are amazing with great pricing! If you haven’t been here you are missing out!

This would have been a five star if not for the service. Great food and atmosphere but the female bartender, Ashley, was extremely rude and unfriendly. I remember her name specifically because of her attitude the ENTIRE time we were there. She acted like it was an inconvenience to serve us drinks. I don’t know why such a cool little spot would continue to keep an employee who makes them look bad. I would like to say I would go back and take friends but honestly, if I walk in and see her there, I will turn around and walk right back out the door and give my money and business to someone who actually wants it.

I have been here multiple times since moving back to the area. The food has been great and I enjoy the live bands. The issue I have had each time is the same. The female bartender with glasses. Every time I have gotten a drink from her she acts like it’s a hassle to make a simple cocktail or grab a bottle of beer. If it had been once I would have chalked it up her having an off night, but it has happened multiple times. I will return because of the food and it’s a local establishment; however, I will make sure to avoid her so she does not have to deal with making me a drink and doing her job.
