Remarkable food coming out of this kitchen. Lamb and smoked rice accompanied by a pickled bell pepper relish. A flavor combination that was out of this world. Generous service from a family team. So hospitable and anxious to share their love of food. Cannot recommend this place enough. Nondescript strip that hides a gem of a place. No set menu… they make a few items each day. Don’t miss out!

This place makes amazing food. It’s not like a traditional restaurant where you show up and order whatever you want. They make their meat starting in the morning and sell off whatever they have and if they run out they’re done. (I didn’t know this when coming) We showed up a bit after 7pm on a Wednesday and they told me that they only had half chicken on rice left. Feeling a little disappointed we still accepted it and it was so good it should be illegal drugs . Don’t forget to get some of their hot sauce. It’s a good flavorful spice. It is spicy but reasonable and with a lot it’ll creep up on you. Remember to eat it as fresh as possible too! The staff was super nice and friendly to explain everything. We want to come back to try the other meats.

I rarely give any restaurant 5/5 stars, but Old School more than deserves it. I have eaten here many times and continue to say their lamb dishes (stuffed lamb neck and lamb shoulder) are the best lamb I have ever had in my entire life. The meat has been marinated and slow cooked for 5 hours and is fall-off-the-bone tender. The rice they serve it over is perfectly seasoned and delicious.
The owners and staff are incredibly kind and you can tell they put all of their hard work and passion into preparing the food and it shows as this restaurant has been around for over a decade.
Would highly recommend paying this restaurant a visit. You will not regret it.

Definitive recommended for meatlovers! Their halal food is prepared fresh every morning with true heart. I tried the old school speciality lamb and the flavor was right at the point.
