Bowl of chicken soup for $5. Beautiful shop with excellent gift options. It’s quite a nice place.

The Old Mill shops are a must to visit when going to Pigeon Forge. The kitchen and candy stores are full of baking goods, baked goods, candies and many varieties of soup mixes, sauces, syrups, seasonings and condiments. The associates are always friendly and you’ll love your purchases when you get them back home. NOTE, these are shops and not restaurants.

Charming little shops with handmade goods. We loved strolling through and finding treasures—it felt like a mix of history and creativity all in one place.

The General Store is next to the restaurant and is a great place to hangout while waiting. A lot of great options, similar to what you might see at Cracker Barrel but a little more unique. They do sell corn to feed the ducks, you have to walk back to the other side of the restaurant to get to the river access and the ducks and geese will come right up to you. Great stop for sure

Didn’t like anything. Sorry. Not our cup of tea here.
Every general store has about the same products. Trying to look for different items.

Lots of homemade items for sale. Plus they had the old meal brownie mix muffin mix, cookie mix, different types of flower and cornmeal that you could purchase in the store.

They haven’t changed anything in 20 years and I don’t think they need to. The Old Mill restaurant is a long time favorite and seems to be a part of everyone’s trip to Pigeon Forge. Two hour waits for a table are common during the busy season. The shops provide a place to fill time while waiting for a table. Some shops have restaurant speakers calling names for tables, others don’t – plan accordingly. Whoever owns this complex is a cartel level genius. They created a quasi captive audience for their stores instead of a restaurant lobby. That being said, all are filled with smoky merch and higher quality than the strip.

Great little shops. But there is literally one toilet for women and one for men now in the whole complex unless you are at the restaurant. There used to be a bathroom with several stalls that have now been closed. You are told you can go to the trolley station across the big parking lot too. Well people who have disabilities or incontinence can’t go that far. So prepare to stand in line waiting at the one bathroom with one toilet or walk a country mile to go to the trolly station.
