We enjoyed it very much. Loved the atmosphere. By the time our food came we were the only ones there. Our waiter never stopped working and was very attentive. We enjoyed our food and are glad we went!

Although the cook didn’t show up last night, the workers there strived to do their best. Our food was delicious & the waiter was phenomenal~so sweet & apologized for the delay. To those complaining in other reviews about the old look of the place, it’s what gives it charm….hence it being the Old Mill that’s been serving travelers & diners for decades. If you want modern look & feel, go to a modern place. Thanks again to the sweet waiter!

We enjoyed our meal and our service! Understandably, some items were unavailable due to delays in deliveries. That didn’t stop us from having a nice meal and wonderful service from Will! It took a little while to get our food, but we were happy to have the extra time to spend together on our date night. Overall, good food, good service, would come back! Would recommend maybe having some good instrumental country music or something in the background, if possible. I loved the decor and the ambiance! It’s a really cool place if you have the extra time to dine ◡̈

It took over an hour to get our food. When we did, it was cold. Potatoes tasted instant, (very cold), corn was cold and definitely from a can, green beans were unseasoned from a can, gravy on roast beef was too salty-likely a can or mix. Rolls were cold- decent but cold. Roast beef was stringy. We were offered no refills on our drinks. It was obvious they were understaffed, but the food wasn’t good either. This place used to be great! I’m sad.

It appeared two people total were working. Also- menu said cole slaw- no Cole slaw was offered. No butter for rolls, no knives on table, it was hot- no ac.

My family and I went there for a Father’s Day meal back in 2015. The atmosphere was extremely dark, and whole place smelled like mold. The parking lot has huge potholes and the whole place needs MAJOR updating (looked like it was falling apart.) The food we ordered off of the menu took almost an hour and a half to get to us, and then we were told that they stopped serving things off the menu. I didn’t get the correct food when I got it. I was hungry so stole a few pieces of shrimp from my mom, one of the pieces was raw in one spot. There is also a hole in the buffet area which I had to step over several times. The only good thing about the place was our waitress’ attitude. She was very polite, but the entire place was way understaffed. If you’re like us and want to try it even if you’ve seen a few bad reviews, don’t waste your time. I don’t recommend it.

The food was alright but there was very very little to choose from. When we finished we were shorted about $7-$8 and didn’t realize it till we got home and I didn’t bother calling or going back to collect. The place itself on the inside was awesome though

Very disappointed! Musty smell inside and very dirty appearance. Lots of real cob webs on the walls and rafters. My sandals stuck to the carpet in the buffet line. Prime rib was way over cooked. I understood no steak knife if It was cooked properly. Very tough and chewy. Case knife in table setting did not cut the meat. Crab legs were also overcooked and very small. Instant mashed potatoes. White gravy tasted like sweetened paste. The boneless frog legs were good. First and last visit.

We went on Easter for their buffet. They had ran out of several items on her first trip up. we asked them to refill stuff. They never refilled those items until we left. They gave us cheap throw away style cups for our drinks and only refilled certain members of our parties. Our food was cold. The waitress put her fingers on the inside of another customers cup. When we asked for our check they over charged us from the advertised price. The waitress also stood over our shoulder as we filled out our receipt. The sinks in the womens restroom were not working properly either.

We use to love to come here but not anymore.

This was a terrible place for Thanksgiving. The dining area’s decor is charming, but just a little too dark. Clearly, none of the staff wanted to be there. It was our first visit to the place and the waitress never asked if we wanted buffet or a menu or offered anything. She did keep our drinks filled throughout the meal but very unfriendly. The buffet was in the other room and was completely empty. We watched as they refilled, changing out none of the pans. Just dumping new into the old. They were accepting patrons from 10:30 until 2:30. So I’m guessing everyone was served from those same pans… Yuk 4hrs??? The buffet was heated by oil candles under the pans so the temps weren’t regulated properly. The food itself wasn’t home-cooked as said in one review. Maybe some was and I’m guessing those were the dishes that had little taste. The dressing was practically flavorless as well as the chipped turkey and chicken and noodles. The salads we’re ok and they did have deserts, but even those were mediocre at best. I would not recommend and will not be back. In fact, had I made it to the buffet first of my group, I would have suggested to pay for our drinks and go to Golden Corral or elsewhere. In comparison, that would have been like fine dining as far as the food quality. I chose this place based on the menu and reviews I saw online. I’ve been told it was a good place, but if they don’t want to work on the holidays, stay closed!

This place was awful from start to finish. When I called to make reservations for a family birthday celebration we were told they could put us in the basement so it would be intimate and large enough to accommodate everyone with the downside being we would have to go up and down the stairs to get to the buffet. That being we assumed that it meant they were busy on Friday’s, they absolutely were anything but and still put us down there. The entire place is dark and dingy, the buffet was expensive, the food wasn’t fresh and the crab legs were cold. Each person who got the buffet only made one trip to it due to how awful it was, one person didn’t even get their food until we already had our checks and were paying, two got the “family meal” which is supposed to be similar to that of the Log Inn but failed miserably, the chicken tenders were tasteless and the mashed potatoes were instant. If all of that wasn’t bad enough an older person in our party missed the last step and hurt her ankle, they didn’t make a report and when I called to advise that she was going to have to go to the doctor I was informed that “She said she was ok so she will need to call me.” Really?? Your waitress told everyone to be careful because the stairs are so dangerous so why is that section even being used, especially when the restaurant is so dead we could have used the entire dining room and it not make a difference in their business. To end the night I was overcharged and had to call the manager that night to correct. The only upside to the whole evening was the waitresses went out of their way to make sure the birthday girl had a cake with a candle to blow out (we had cupcakes but forgot the candles) which was very sweet of them. I would say to just avoid this place completely.
