We were driving from Nebraska to the Black Hills and stopped at Valentine for a quick lunch. This place has good sandwiches and pizzas. I personally don’t eat sandwiches, but I took a bite of my husband’s sandwich and it was yummy. The other side sell coffee and desserts. It was good as well.

This is now my must stop when driving through Valentine NE! I found this to be such an oasis to recharge. They have good coffee, baked goods, deli, snacks and their firestone pizza knocked it out of the park! And they have a gluten free crust option!
The other important items, nice restrooms (when traveling is so amazing) and little gift area. Just a gem of a place.

A real gem. I don’t know where you’re coming from or where you’re going, but you should plan to stop here. The food was delicious, the market was awesome, and the service was so friendly. They also had merch and a coffee area opening in a couple weeks! We really loved stopping for dinner and doing some grocery shopping! Truly an impressive place.

We eat cripsy turkey wrap and turkey club sandwiches which is yummy! Also they sell pizza and also you can build your own pizza.
Also they sell cheese, cookies, cakes, pastries and some spices. Also they sell some beautifull souvenirs.
Highly recommend.

Just stopped for a coffee and sweet treat. We were greeted by friendly smiles, a delicious maple cinnamon roll and exceptional coffee drinks. We are traveling and this is a perfect spot for bakery treats, a variety of specialty coffee drinks and an assortment of lunch/dinner options (we didn’t try any of these but the place was filling up with a lunch crowd). Thanks for the hospitality and the tasty memories.

Great restaurant with lots of yummy things to buy. We ordered 2 pizzas. Must have been confusion on order because mine came out but my husband’s was delayed for some reason. We own a business so I understand that stuff happens every now and then.
I had the chicken pesto pizza. Oh my word! It was DELICIOUS! He had the meat lovers and really like it.
Hope to eat there again when we are traveling thru.

Welcomed by very friendly people we really enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill and had some delicious food that was freshly made. Highly recommend to try it out!
