First time customers but long time visitors to Door County. We were intrigued by finding a Mexican restaurant in Sturgeon Bay, so finally this trip let’s do it. A Tuesday lunch in January, so no big crowds. The dining area was spacious and the decor was very fitting. The chips and salsa were served quickly, then along came a young lady offering to make guacamole with your choice of fresh ingredients. No charge for this. My better half said it was excellent as I don’t eat this. We ordered our meals and they came very quickly and hot. My lunch chicken burrito with rice and beans was as good as any other Mexican restaurant I have been at, tasty, just the right amount of spice, and enough to satisfy my hunger. My better half Poblano pepper stuffed with cheese and the same rice and beans was also excellent. I even got a free refill of my iced tea without asking, not something you see too much anymore. Throughout the meal our server checked on us without being intrusive. Another great part was the bill at the end, not your $20 per plate but under $35 for everything. We will definitely be back on future trips and bring along some of our guests! Keep up the great work!

If you want authentic Mexican food then this is the place for you. With a charming atmosphere, this restaurant is very relaxed, and the waitstaff was both friendly and helpful. The chips and salsa were delicious while their homemade hot salsa had a great kick to it. My husband had the chicken fajitas and they were both savory and plentiful. My daughter ordered the mucho nachos and was barely able to eat half of them. The homemade guacamole was scrumptious! My son and I both had the chicken burritos and we were able to get them made exactly how we like them. The only downfall was that they were out of sour cream. Though it was a little pricey it was still comparable to other restaurants in town. We would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re look for authentic Mexican food.

We had an excellent lunch. Carlos was friendly and the service was super fast! Highly recommend the fresh guacamole, made at your table – by Nelson. We had a chimichanga dinner and a chicken fajita salad. All of the food was excellent !!!!! We have leftovers too!!!! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

We finally stopped in here today after years of driving past, and we’re so glad we did. Great food, and huge portions. Very reasonable prices, especially for Door County. Drinks come in small, medium, and large sizes. We got medium size margaritas, and despite my best efforts, I could not finish it – it was huge! The special was amazing, and my kids had a ton of children’s menu items to pick from. We’ll be back.

Stopped in for lunch the table side guacamole was absolutely delicious! I told my daughter if the food is half as good as the guacamole, I’m excited. She pointed out that most of the people in here were old people that it was not a good sign. Unfortunately, she was right. The food was good, just a little on the bland side for us. The chicken was juicy and well cooked. If you are looking for a mild menu check this place out.

We all agreed the food was awesome. Two of us had the lunch special – steak fajita quesadilla’s, and the portion was just right for lunch. The other 2 adults had an enchilada meal and a carnitias meal. Our little one had a quesadilla kids meal. The staff were very friendly and conscientious. Food was brought out very fast. The restaurant had a very authentic Mexican atmosphere and was very clean.

I had a large cucumber Margarita…. absolutely huge!! It was with real pieces of cucumber and so good! The chicken in my fajita salad was really tender. The workers came to our table immediately with chips, salsa, and made guacamole to our liking right in front of us. We all were very pleased with everything.

A very well run, gem of a restaurant. We guessed on a restaurant to try and were very pleasantly surprised. Excellent flavor in all our dishes, generous portions, and reasonable service, although slightly faster refills would have been better. Definitely a place to visit again.

The fresh guacamole made table side is a must!!! Very generous portions and the drinks were not short on booze lol. It’s so much bigger inside than it looks from the outside and the servers were entertaining!!
