Great whiskey bar right in downtown Pensacola. Daughter worked here when it first opened and I loved it then and still love it now. Place is classy and swanky. The selection is great and the staff is amazing. Ashley is awesome and very attentive. Keep going guys.

One of our favorite spots downtown. The bartenders are friendly and their cocktail selection rotates seasonally keeping the menu fresh. It does get kind of busy though so it’s a good idea to get there a little earlier to secure a seat, especially on weekends.

Great place, great bartenders. If you like whisky, here’s your bar. Our bartender Joe was an absolute master of his craft. Friendly crowd and it’s worth noting we visited during the Christmas parade when it was really busy but we never waited for a drink.

Left twice in the last three visits before getting served because we were either ignored by the bartender or they chose to serve others after we clearly had been waiting patiently to order. Pretty disrespectful. And the other guy, who may have just been barracking, or bartending(?) but choosing to wipe glasses and stock up couldn’t be bothered to even look at us or let us know that he or someone else would be with us shortly. Pretty terrible for a Monday. Hate to see a Friday. I will say, when I actually am able to get a drink, the Old Hickory is delicious.

Have always thoroughly enjoyed visiting here for the creative menus and great atmosphere. However, there is a woman who works behind the bar who is absolutely dreadful. I’ve refrained from writing reviews in the past because I thought maybe she was just having a bad night but it seems to be her normal attitude. Other than that, this is a standout in downtown Pensacola.

Huge selection of whiskeys at Old Hickory with an incredibly knowledgeable staff. They are clearly able to help find you the whiskey that will work for your taste best. Definitely ask questions before you order! Great selection of cocktails as well. Awesome experience and will definitely visit again.

We are regulars at Old Hickory and am a big fan. However, I cannot believe the one bartender is still there. She has the worst personality for a person in the hospitality industry. I doubt she knows the definition. She has been very disagreeable in the past but then started to turn nice the last time we went. Alas, today she regressed to her old form. We ordered the Green Machine and she just said she was out of it and went to another patron. She did not ask if there was something else we might like. No shred of concern. We walked out. I know other people have complained about her to the owner. I do not understand why she is still there. We will come back but may not stay if she is working.
