You can find us serving our award-winning BBQ at the Sunken Gardens Golf Course – not very many golf courses offer the quality of food that we do! We’ve been coming here for a few years now and realized we have to stop gatekeeping this amazing bbq spot and bar. Everything is fantastic and we can’t leave without having their amazing collard greens. This morning we had the best burger we’ve ever had. Their ‘Drake Burger’ (because it has Canadian bacon haha). Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, great fun, and great service

My wife and I have gone to this hidden gem restaurant many times. I took two friends for lunch today and both thought that the food was delicious. The BBQ is award winning! The portions are big as well. Melvin, one of the staff is really very nice and I enjoy talking to him. We got to meet Ryan the co-owner and pit master today who was very welcoming. I’ve posted pictures of the 3 St. Louis style ribs, brisket sandwich and caleb’s cracklins. The BBQ plate orders come with choice of two sides and a roll.

Wednesday evening they have Karaoke, but you can also order a grilled Ribeye Steak Special on Wednesday’s that comes with mashed potatoes and veggies for an amazing price of $19.99. We tried it last night and it was delicious, tender and juicy. If you like Ribeye Steak, I would highly recommend it. The cocktails made at the bar are also really good, plus they have local craft beers. Wednesday nights Brooke is behind the bar and she’s really good!

Awesome food and customer service at Old Greenwood BBQ. Mehmet was at the helm when I went in to order dinner for my mom and I. He was professional, polite and very knowledgeable with the menu. The ribs were delicious and the chicken was moist and flavorful. The Texas toast completed the meal nicely. I will definitely be back to Old Greenwood BBQ.

I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered the The corn beef it was terrible, full of fat nothing but fat, small, regular carrots that were not even boiled you buy them in a plastic bag. They were not fresh carrots. The red potatoes were not cooked enough either the whole dinner was disappointing. Very disappointing. My family and I feel sick after eating here. There are many people today who are afraid to give back their food or exchange it because they are scared of ridicule or being treated harshly. I’m sad to say this place just confirms those fears. When I asked for a refund I was hung up on and told that they were too busy.

Brisket was okay not much flavor, asked for bbq sauce and they stated it was in the bag .
Burger- nothing special, just large.

This BBQ spot is a best kept secret of Silicon Valley. I’m so glad we got to try it! I’ll be back to visit and try the rest of the yumminess on the menu! The bar next door also has an awesome selection!

What a great name that suggest donning a cowboy hat. Barbeque smoke and smell greet you outside. Masks seem optionable, but the drinks are a must. A neighborhood bar, a bit hidden, means loyal customers and interesting conversations. Outside, a band plays and beckons would-be-dancers. Order food at the counter and then go to the bar to order beers or watch sports. Many options to stay indoors or outside at a picnic table. You will realize that this place is good for catering or private parties.

This place is an awesome little beer garden! I was confused by the pictures of the food truck (which does exist!) But when we got there it turns out that out back there’s an awesome patio. The tables have little fireplaces built in and are well spaced out, so it was great for a evening beer now that it’s chilly out.
Can’t say much about the BBQ because I didn’t try it, but we did get the loaded tater tots and garlic fries and they were both great. Good beer menu and bar options. The bartender had great recommendations, so tell them what you like and maybe they’ll show you something new. (I got a hard kombucha which wasn’t on the menu but was perfect for my tastes, so it’s worth asking!)

Back in the 70s, Sunken Gardens was an idyllic escape from the rapidly developing Silicon Valley. Working at Intel, escaping to the green oasis was a welcome lunch respite. Many years later, our cycling club led a ride to the Old Greenwood BBQ for great ribs. Called, “Ride to Eat, Eat to Ride” It was so popular that the group went back there again. Catering? Let’s try it.
Old Greenwood catered a fabulous lunch for 40 hungry cyclists at our home. BBQ to the max Ribs. Grilled chicken. Pulled Pork, Sausages. Brisket. All had smokey greatness. Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Baked Beans, Caesar Salad — each done well. Sweet bread rolls complemented the smokiness. We’d expected fewer folks but with our appetizers and a large birthday cake, we had ample food. We’re really enjoying the few leftovers! (The three BBQ sauces that came with it — Carolina Gold (mustard), Hot, and Regular — are not needed for their BBQ, but I’m using the leftover sauces for my own spectacular cooking.)
