A true hidden gem. Look for the wagon for the driveway entrance. The homemade sausage is delicious. Large selection of beers, pepsi products and refreshing lemonade. Small menu but everything on it is amazing. The pizza is out of this world. The rootbeer is the best ever. The staff is friendly, and fast too. Plenty of parking.

My last brewery stop on a quick marathon stop in town a few weeks ago. Friendly and knowledgeable Luke discussed beers w me that I trusted him to “pour me whichever one” i got chatty w some locals so opted for some pretzel bites that came w a delicious dipping sauce; that when i asked Luke for a box, hd added another full sauce, thanks. A few bites in to my order the gal next to me who had recommended them and told me her first order was overcooked, said mine were too. I continued eating…. then noticed: yes, these are too done… bummer! They have to get that dialed in, serve better prepared food. At that point i felt id ate too much to send them back or complain, so that was a bummer. But…i came for the beet and the few i tried were great. Old Germantown is a fun venue w easy parking. I didnt peruse any of their food offerings but worth a try if you head over. Thanks Luke for the knowledgeable beer chat and the tasty beers, cheers.

Feels like a Hofbrau house in Bavaria got married to an authentic Italian Pizzeria Ristorante. Best of both worlds!

Has a lengthy selection of beers on tap…all very interesting. Something for everyone. I did a tasting flight and the Plum Cobbler beer was my favorite. The Gitche Gumee Farmhouse Ale is one of the (many) home brews here.

The pizzas are absolutely fantastic. So many flavor combinations to choose from that we will be back just to try more of them.

Pack your patience with you…it’s busy, steady stream of people…but doesn’t feel crowded or stressed. The owner works the register/hostess stand and even intros himself with a handshake!

A gem of a place!

Kinda cool, you order off a q code with your phone. Get guest internet sign in pass word from desk.

Hand tossed wood fire pizza was GOOD, really good. Burger was ok. Fries are really good.

Cool place, looks like a regular house property from road. No sign that we could find announcing it. That’s what the one pic looking back was for.

Would recommend and go again. Bit pricey but food was good.

What an experience! And a great one at that! Every person who helped us were so kind and willing! We tried 4 pizzas, a sausage platter and the pretzel bites with beer cheese. Everything tasted incredible. The drive out to it is definitely worth it! Thanks for the experience, we came to visit family from CA and we’re completely happy about this dinner choice!

If you’re looking for an authentic, feel-good dining experience that captures the heart of Wisconsin farm-to-table cuisine, Old Germantown is an absolute must-visit. This spot feels like stepping into a cozy, rustic haven with incredible food, craft beer, and warm hospitality.
The atmosphere is unbeatable – think charming barn-style setting with a beautiful outdoor patio that’s perfect for relaxing with friends on a sunny afternoon. The interior is inviting and full of character, making every visit feel special and relaxed.
Here are some standout highlights from the menu that keep us coming back:
• The wood-fired pizzas are phenomenal – crispy sourdough crusts topped with fresh, creative ingredients. The mushroom ricotta pizza is a game-changer (even convinced my mushroom-hating partner to love it!).
• Housemade sausages and the sausage sampler are bursting with flavor – clearly made with care and local pride.
• Don’t skip the pretzel bites or starters – they’re the perfect way to kick off your meal.
Pair everything with their excellent selection of Wisconsin craft beers (including their own small-batch brews) – ice-cold, refreshing, and perfectly suited to the hearty food. The focus on local sourcing shines through in every bite.
The staff treats you like family – friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Especially Tyler he was amazing!! Whether you’re stopping in for a casual dinner, grabbing takeout, or enjoying live music on the patio, the service is always top-notch.
Old Germantown isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Wisconsin heritage, local ingredients, and good times. We’ve been multiple times, and it never disappoints. Easily one of the best spots in the area – highly recommend to locals and visitors alike!

We moved to Wisconsin on Friday and by Sunday we’d already found our new happy place! This amazing brewery welcomed us with open arms, big smiles, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like you’ve been coming here forever. Great beer, homemade sausage, and an atmosphere so fun you forget it’s Sunday and not Saturday night. We’re smitten!
