I found this place to be a nice gem for Cleveland. I had driven by it so many times and ate at other places for breakfast but this is the one for me. They welcomed me as if I was new at church, the waitress served me quickly, everything was clean and quiet. The whole place seems great. The food looked amazing unlike some other places I’ve been at in Cleveland or other cities. There is plenty of seating inside and spacious between the tables.

Quaint family owned and run restaurant. It’s a meat and 3 kind of place but has a good breakfast menu also. We had a wide variety of things and all of it was good. We didn’t expect a wait in the middle of the day on Thursday but we didn’t know turkey and dressing day was Thursday and quite popular, and I did get that – turkey was moist and delicious. Cucumber and onions has some sugar in it and the onions are diced in it but it was good. Okra was good and crunchy and cornbread was really southern style with no sugar in it, just how I like it.

This is a homey, clean, friendly place that has been around for generations. The food was delicious, the server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and she even brought us drinks to go at the conclusion of our meal. We had the Reuben sandwich and broccoli cheese bite appetizers. Yum!

Our experience at the Old Fort restaurant was unexpected. The building on the outside was unimpressive, but inside, the service, the surroundings, and the food was just great! I had the catfish sandwich and my husband had the fried shrimp and both were hot and fresh and delicious. So glad that we came here instead of going to fast food somewhere. Prices were just about the same as fast food, but the experience and the food was so much better!

Always dependable for meat and 3 food and atmosphere. The same as many meat and 3’s I’ve eaten at across the South Eastern US and that’s not a bad thing. You know what to expect that’s what you get. Not fancy or frilly. Good Southern food staples and home style vegetables.

This was my first visit, but it won’t be my last! Although they were very busy, we were seated and had drinks within minutes. We ordered breakfast and, let me tell ya, it was fantastic! Food was served hot and quickly. I ordered 2 pancakes and they were huge! We also ordered biscuits with apple butter, a French toast combo breakfast, and a kids breakfast. Everything was absolutely delicious! Service was wonderful, they kept my coffee cup full despite how busy they were. The atmosphere is comforting and welcoming. This is one of my new favorite places!

My husband and I decided to try Old Fort again (after a bad experience in 2018). This time, everything was GREAT! The service has DEFINITELY IMPROVED. The food was yummy! You get a good sized portion of food for your money. We enjoyed it so much on Wednesday this week that we went back on Thursday. We look forward to enjoying many more meals here.
