My family and I went here and we absolutely loved it! We plan on making it a stop we make each year when we’re in town.
We’re from out of town, so we searched around and were looking for a place that was a little different, not overly crowded, and didn’t look like all the other cookie cutter places around town/tourist holes – this place delivered & more!
The service was fast and reliable, way above and beyond. The food was incredible. The sweet tea was great, coffee fresh brewed, the desserts were the bomb (we tried one of everything), and the fish was delicious. Between all of us, we had mahi mahi, salmon, chicken tenders and fries, corn on the cob, cole slaw, salads, fried oysters, shrimp, and more, and it was all top notch! The atmosphere is different, but it’s welcoming, bright, and makes you feel like you’re a local and regular, even when you’re not. Everyone who was in with us was definitely a regular because they knew our server by name, and she knew theirs, and that was special to see honestly. The key lime pie was strong, but that’s the way I like it! Everything was fresh, made in house. The bleu cheese salad dressing was honestly the best dressing I’ve ever tasted and I wish I could bottle it and take it with me.

Yum yum yummy! Absolutely will go here again. Chowder delicious, did the all you can eat, and it was well worth it. A way to sample different fish and sides. Waitress was great. Very helpful in making selections. Place has been here 75 years if I am not mistaken. Everything scratch. The hush puppies with powdered sugar alone would make a visit back worth it.

A great restaurant with fresh seafood. I like the fried oysters which are cooked the way oysters should be cooked. I take my out of town guest there and no one has been disappointed and always asks to go back. The service is A plus and with a smile even when it is busy. This is my favorite lunch and dinner place to eat.

We are visiting the area while on vacation and wasn’t sure where to eat. We decided on The Old Fish House Restaurant, and upon entering, we thought for sure we’d regret it. The place could use a fresh new update, but looks can definitely be deceiving! We tried the clams, fried shrimp, crab cake, salad, and baked potatoes and it was delicious! We will definitely be back on our next visit to the area!

There were two of us in the restaurant. The food was very good. We hadn’t had such perfectly grilled tuna in a long time. We really liked that you could put together your own individual combination of fish and side dishes. The service was excellent, and the young man who served us was particularly nice.

Review of The Old Fish House, Cocoa Beach
My family and I recently dined at The Old Fish House, located at 249 W Cocoa Beach Causeway, right across from the Dinosaur Store and Museum on Highway 520. This quaint, family-managed restaurant is a hidden gem that delivers an exceptional dining experience.
From the moment we walked in, the fun and quirky nautical-themed decorations set a welcoming, laid-back vibe that perfectly suits the Cocoa Beach atmosphere. The smallish dining space feels cozy rather than cramped, adding to the charm of this family-run establishment. Our server Rafael was attentive and fun.
The real star of the show, however, is the seafood. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. From the perfectly cooked shrimp to the mouthwatering fish entrees, the quality was outstanding, especially considering the very reasonable prices. It’s rare to find such high-quality seafood at such an affordable cost, making The Old Fish House a fantastic value.
The service was warm and attentive, with the staff treating us like family. You can tell this place is run with love and pride, which made our experience even more enjoyable.
Whether you’re a local or just visiting Cocoa Beach, I highly recommend stopping by The Old Fish House for a memorable meal. We can’t wait to return!

First, I had fairly low expectations, as I knew nothing about the area and this was in a rather nondescript strip shopping center. But once I asked a question about the soup of the day, the waiter asked “do you want a sample?” Now that’s a cut above! He brought two samples—delicious!—so we ordered some, surprisingly full of crabmeat too. I hadn’t eaten haddock in years, so ordered a “small” size serving. Since we get two sides with it (only $16!) , I had a baked potato and some vegetables. I was stunned to find a large plate (pictured) filled with this large haddock fish—no fake fillet of unknown origin, and perfectly done—filling the plate. The haddock was perfect, delicious, the veggies not overdone and not underdone—frankly I’ve never experienced this anywhere else. Without asking, he brought us all iced water. He offered more sour cream for my baked potato. Our waiter went way above and beyond any normal expectation! He was also personable in a perfectly decent and balanced way. After a very difficult day, this experience renewed my faith in people, in reality and places of business, and I was more full than in quite some time. Others in our party also ordered jalapeño poppers stuffed with crab, really great! A fried oyster sandwich, clam strips, French fries, and fried pollock. We all left very happy to have chosen to eat here. Truly exceptional in every way, with incomparable friendly service. Highly recommended. Don’t let appearances fool you; this is first class food!

Amazing food and extremely friendly staff. We found this restaurant by accident when we didn’t want to wait 45 minutes at a larger seafood restaurant nearby. Not disappointed at all… we actually found a new favorite. The crab cake was the best I have ever had, and all of their homemade sauces are outstanding!

The best shrimp ever! Everyone including our kids raved about the food. Very attentive and polite service! My kids said the French fries were amazing, the owner told us he uses beef tallow to cook them. The food was very fresh and cooked well. We will definitely be back!
