This is a Joliet Staple! Before she passed, my mother, Nicole D’Andrea-Trevino used to come here every single Sunday and have pancake breakfasts for dinner. Honestly? Some times, it was more than once per week, several times in fact! We lived there. We were raised here! Our whole family loves it here. Old Fashioned Pancake House tastes like Home. Their desserts are to die for! Their pancakes are so delicious and so are their skillets! We’d have breakfast for lunch and dinner! They even make their own hot syrup! I’ve traveled many distances and their pancakes cannot be matched. I live in Plainfield but I long for this establishment, every day. Thank you for being there for our family to love, live and eat together! We wish you all only the best in life! ♥️

Everything hit on all cylinders. Server was great! Clued me on to the Friday special that included a slice of French toast. Saved $5 over 2x3x4, that does come with a second slice of French toast. Entire staff and owner were very friendly. They do a great job of keeping everything spick and span.
My meal was excellent and certainly will be sure to return again. They have some pastries from Sweet Treats in Chicago that are tempting me to try. Especially the cherry squares.

We started going here in the last year and its our main go to now. Service is always friendly and they keep up on customer needs! Management takes an active part and things seem to run the way they should. Its seems always busy no matter what time we go here, but wait time isnt usually a big deal. Prices are good and food has been great every time for us!

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast based solely on customer reviews and we were not disappointed. I ordered the Signature Stuffed French Toast which was wonderful, hot and quite tasty. I also ordered a side of sausage patties those were good as well.
The manager stopped by our table to ask how everything was. We both said it was very good and I told him they were doing a good job. The manager would greet everyone and the staff was attentive to our needs. The food, the staff and the manager are what makes a great restaurant, keep it up.

Made a reservation the day before my moms birthday at 12:00 for my family of 13. They accepted our reservation and on the day of our reservation when we were all there, they told us our table would be delayed. They proceeded to sit walk-ins before us. At 1230, the restaurant was filled with no attempt to clear a space for us. We left and will never be back. Do not take reservations if you can’t honor them!

Hello this is not a bad comment I have been to this place a few times and I can tell you that the food is so good and the owners are so nice , I went today with my mom and my 2 brothers and a friend to celebrate her birthday. And the waitress that served us was so rude she was throwing the drinks and food . I have went there and they have never been rude as today .
