Old Fashioned Dough Company is an absolute MUST if you’re in Branson West! The owner is beyond amazing—so incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about baking and making people happy. You can feel the love she puts into everything she does, and her sweet little pup Cocoa just makes the place even more special
This is the perfect spot for breakfast, a sweet treat after lunch, or dessert to take home for later (or all three, honestly). Everything is fresh, delicious, and made with so much care. The food stays fresh for 1–3 days, and you can even freeze it—when you thaw it, it tastes just as good as new!
You can truly tell this is more than just a bakery—it’s a place built on heart, talent, and joy. Highly, highly recommend!

OMG Y’all best dang rolls ever huge cheap and you watch them being made behind the counter. The lady I have watched feed the homeless and even put em to work a saint baking her way straight to heaven best cookies and bread 10 bucks fills a bag. love the 50 cent cups of extra sweet cream frosting used them in my coffee. only thing I can say is that I wished she was open 24/7

Felt like a “must do”. We ordered an old fashion cinnamon roll, an orange roll, a cheese Danish, bread pudding, and a sampler pack of cheese cake. All of the items were generously portioned. The best was the cheese cake-simple and delicious. The bread pudding was dense and moist. The orange roll was perfectly glazed. The cheese danish was a bit lite on the filling and the cinnamon roll was OK, it needed a bit more filling in our opinion.
The servers were attentive, and the bakers were friendly.
Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time.

Very inviting bakery with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great smells only exceeded by the delicious baked goods. The bread pudding was as good as mother’s! Yes the cinnamon rolls are excellent but the fresh baked bread is even better. I am certain to return to this jewel hidden in plain view!

I had been looking very forward to this place and a cinnamon roll that people had told me about. (Please note: the product was delicious) However, I found the man behind the counter rude. I ordered a cinnamon roll. He asked which one. I said I didn’t care. He then charged me $5 when it said $4 on the board. I asked if it could be warmed. He said they’re made fresh in the morning then reluctantly through it in the microwave, plastic container and all. It melted a hole in the plastic box. He was not friendly at all. I tried to be as nice as possible. I always am. I even gave a $1 tip on my card even though his attitude didn’t deserve it. I hope he understands that your product is a luxury treat. Things are very expensive these days and I didn’t need to spend my money there but I did which keeps you in business and him employed. I’m a local Branson resident.

Great cinnamon rolls! It smelled SOOO good as soon as I walked in, and the customer service was top notch. Loved the aesthetic of this place as well. The Christmas tree dressed as a snowman was adorable. 5 stars for this place!

Their cinnamon rolls are the best I’ve ever had. This little place is locally famous and a Branson West original gem. I hope it stays open forever.

Tried their cinnamon roll for the first time. It was EXCELLENT! If you are in Branson and haven’t tried it yet, you are missing out. Get a raisin bread and some turnovers. Everything baked, nothing fried.

We got 3 cinnamon rolls and a couple danishes. I didn’t agree with all the reviews. The cinnamon rolls were just okay for us. We didn’t care for the danish. We also make our own and have had others in different states that we prefer. People were kind and happy to support local business.
