Made a 25 minute drive just to check them out. Social media said they’re the bomb.com and I have to agree. This staple is so good! I grew up in Texas and this tastes like my favorite childhood donut shop. Truly fresh. Truly delicious.

Been going here for many years. Best tasting donuts bar none. Always fresh. You can taste the yeast and the love in these donuts. They’re not machine made with all the dangerous chemicals and preservatives. My favorite is the chocolate Texas donut. The chocolate…wow..real chocolate! Not waxy or greasy. Perfect. Had to ship these to relatives in Florida. Imagine their surprise! .

Donuts and food always perfect. Has been a long time staple in the Roseland community. And the best in the city. Try their milkshakes too. My long time favorite is the Apple Fritter with nuts. It’s super sweet and big. Wash it down with some cold milk. I’ll always come back to this shop no other for the rest of my life or till they close.

Jason Kelsey gave Old Fashioned Donuts the BEST PUBLICITY POSSIBLE. I went last Saturday and the place was packed. I wish I could give this place a good review too.

I went there with my daughter yesterday to get donuts for her son’s 5 year old classroom celebration. We arrived at 6:30 am to make sure we would get fresh hot donuts. Well the fresh donuts were on the wall waiting I guess to be served to Jason because my 1 glazed donut from the cabinet was OLD.

The confectioners on the bottom showcase looked old. The owner wasn’t in the window making anything. Seems like the donuts on the shelf were brought in from the other location. We couldn’t have those cause they were fresh.

The establishment looks horrible. There is a man just outside begging at all times unless the lady comes out and curses at him, then he returns.

My daughter didn’t get the donuts for his class. Said she will just have the class have some of the WEBER Bakery Cake. What a difference. You come in at Weber and you can smell the freshly baked cakes, sweet rolls, donuts etc. There are about 6 to 7 people waiting on customers and it goes fast.

I wish Jason Kelsey would visit WEBER BAKERY because they DESERVE THE PUBLICITY.

I am ashamed of Old Fashioned Donuts. I respect the man who used to be in the window every day.

My hope is Jason Kelsey will help him franchise. I WILL NEVER GO TO OLD FASHIONED DONUTS AGAIN where it’s a privilege IF YOU GET SOMETHING FRESHLY COOKED. Bad business. Awful environment inside and outside.

The best donuts, ANYWHERE… HANDS DOWN! I started eating Old Fashioned Donuts in 1985. My family had just moved to the area, back then. My two brothers and I would stop there every morning on our way to school; and get a dozen of donut holes, each. To this day, NO ONE has even come close to Old Fashioned Donuts, for me. My wife and I moved to Las Vegas, and when our daughter and grandchildren were coming to spend the Christmas holiday with us , a couple of years ago, I only wanted one thing for Christmas. One dozen of donuts from Old Fashioned — 6 glazed and 6 buttermilk cake donuts with chocolate frosting. Even now, my mouth waters. ❤️‍

Donuts is off the chain!!! But the inside of the building makes me not wanna eat the donuts cuz it looks nasty and ran down on the inside. Also they stack the donuts and the top tray be almost to the ceiling near the spider webs and dust, I saw this with my own eyes!! BUT THE DONUTS ARE GOOD!

EVERY time I come in this place they arent serving food. What are you keeping the menu for?

1st and 2nd time they just said we’re not serving. 3rd time they finally said only until 430pm. Now the 4th time I come in and its 330 theyre STILL not serving food. Maybe my skin too light because it seems to be only me.

Welcoming and authentic community business with fast and friendly service. I was overwhelmed by the variety and the gentleman patiently helped me choose. These donuts are incredible! I told another customer in line that now I see what all the fuss is about and she said, “It’s a good fuss”.
