We were hungry and short on time whilst visiting the famous Old Faithful geyser, so we walked across the parking lot for a quick lunch. Essentially fast food, it’s nothing spectacular, but it was decent, and it was fast. The place was jampacked full of people, so I don’t have any photos of the interior, but it was pretty basic, with tables and chairs for seating. You just kind of squeezed in where you could find space. There were large tables that were being utilized by more than one party, just so people could have a seat. Being from out of state on vacation, I opted for the Japaleño Cheddar Elk Bratwurst, because it wasn’t something I could get back home. My wife went with the (3) chicken tenders and fries. I also got a side of the chili cheese fries. My bratwurst was actually very tasty. And it was a pretty good size, so it ended up being relatively filling. The chili cheese fries weren’t the greatest, and I did not finish them. They got cold, and we’re only OK, nothing too spectacular. My wife’s regular fries were quite good. They came in a small little cup, but they were crispy and well seasoned. And with ketchup, they went down quite nice. Her chicken tenders were also good, and there were plenty of sauces to choose from for dipping. Again, this was essentially a fast food at a national park landmark, so it was about what you would expect. Nothing spectacular, but it filled our bellies for the afternoon. Self serve fountain machines were nice and had multiple soda options.

Yeah it’s a fast food type of deal. Got their Cajun Chicken Burger and Fries. The food was good for the price (15 bucks) and it came out really quick. Considering the alternative (2 hr wait for snow lodge dining room), I’m glad I dined here.

Well, whatdya expect. It’s a quick eat and go restaurant, so you can be on the road again exploring the park and views. Chicken fingers, hot dogs, burgers. Plenty of sauce packet options to mix up your flavor. Try the Old Faithful Root Beer, it’s root beer, but with quaint can design. Only found here.

Your usual grill providing hamburgers and hot dogs. They also have some salads and Chicken Tenders here. The food is okay. The hamburgers are definitely better than Wylie’s Canteen at Lake Lodge by Yellowstone Lake.
It’s summer and it’s really busy. They really need to expand this restaurant to provide more seating. There is seating outside, but they don’t clean the tables. And then you realize there are those people who take up a whole table outside because they want to read a book, yet families are looking for a place to sit. Please read your books elsewhere. It’s super crowded. Find another place to read your book.
Having said this, I do have to point out that after you order your food, it doesn’t take long to receive your order.

Relatively affordable and fast are the advantages of this food ‘outlet’. The fries were good. Staff were friendly and efficient. My bison bratwurst wasn’t hot, the decor is institutional, the green chick pea option was a box of cold patties (we took them home to our campsite and fried them, making them delicious). Burgers lacked any personality.
If you’re caught out and really really need a hot meal, do it. Otherwise, gnaw on your shoe, get a sandwich in your room or walk another loop of the boardwalk and wait for a later time slot in the dining room.

So called food was definitely not edible. They don’t add any sauces at all. The lettuce used may not have been washed properly because I found a crawling bug in our package. The patty was probably taken out of the freezer and microwaved. It was the driest ever and so hard it wouldn’t break or bend. Price is definitely not worth what they provide as a dish. The person taking our order appeared to be completely bored and didn’t want to be there. Some of the menu items listed weren’t even available. The cashier couldn’t have cared less whether we ordered or not.

Worst experience ever. Philly cheese steak sandwich came with cheese on top, dry and terrible. Chicken sandwich followed suit and was under cooked in the middle, and the bag of chips appears to have been chewed open by mice. Place should be condemned.

I was feeling brave and got the chili dog. Much to my surprise it was great!! I added some chopped onions they had out by the condiments. My wife got a little spinach salad. It was small but good and the kids both got the burger. Despite what it looked like they enjoyed it and said it tastes good.

Ordering and receiving the food both took some time. The produce in our burgers were fresh but the actual patties were definitely from frozen and tasted that way. It’s definitely overpriced food but you don’t have much options in the area.
