Our server was very friendly and welcoming.
We ordered a variety and shared between three of us because everything sounded good.
Our Caesar salad was brought out first, and it was fantastic. One of the best I’ve had. Loved their homemade dressing, and it had the perfect amount of cheese and croutons. Just thought it was funny that the small salad was served in a large bowl because they were “out of small bowls.” As in no one to wash small bowls or literally out of small bowls? lol
Then we proceeded to wait nearly an hour for our pizzas and subs. There was no explanation for it, and they weren’t visibly busy at all. Other than a few people at the bar, we were the only table there. No one appeared to be picking up carry out orders or anything, so I don’t know what was going on, but it was a bit ridiculous. I honestly don’t mind waiting for food if I’m prepared to wait and I know why I’m waiting, but nearly an hour without any explanation or warning was too much.
Anyway! The pepperoni pizza was delicious. The sauce was very flavorful and fresh tasting, really unique, setting it apart from the ordinary pizza. The crust was rustic with a great texture and chew, perfect amount of cheese, and crisp pepperoni. The Ranch pizza was good, the actual ranch dressing was delicious, but it was lacking something, we all thought. Not bad but just seemed to need something else.
The subs, which were more like calzones, were very messy and hard to eat. All of the ingredients separately were good, but all together, in the way they were prepared just didn’t work for us. I don’t like big hunks of ham in my “sub” or even my calzones. It’s just texturally strange. The sauces served on the side were delicious, but mayo on the side for dipping was weird. We ordered it, thinking it would be on the sub. Again, very messy and actually, impossible to dip without falling apart. For the price of each “sub”, they just didn’t wow us or justify the price. You’d think the server would explain ahead of time that their subs aren’t traditional subs so we’d know what to expect. I believe there was something mentioned on the menu, but still, not at all what we expected.
So, overall, the pizzas and salad were great. Excellent quality. Our server was very nice. But, the extremely long wait and the unusual subs were disappointing. If I’m ever in the area again, which I’m sure I will be, I might order a pizza to go, but avoid dining in!
I got a pizza whose name I can’t remember because my brain short-circuited from happiness after the first bite. Those tiny pepperonis? Crispy little flavor bombs, oven-kissed like they were blessed by a pizza fairy. Not burnt. Not bland. Just perfect. (Hog Roast Pizza )

Review is more like a 3.5 but the time waited was a bit extreme. Came on a Thursday barely anyone there. Drinks are great and cheap. Bartenders give great reccomendations and they were super friendly and helpful. The food that came out on time was awesome. Salads fresh and came out first. Otherwise, all of the food came out about 25 minutes after ordering besides one pizza which came out 35 minutes LATER at exactly 1 hour after ordered. Nothing was mentioned and nothing was comped etc. (my opinion is that the pizza should’ve been taken off or we should’ve just rejected it) however I am excited to go back but in the future, but I would speak up if a food item took an hour. Everything is fresh and delicious though. I think if they were busier, the issue that made it take so long wouldn’t have been there. Bathrooms were okay… not the cleanest but it’s an old building. Food wise the pepperonis, the crust, and the sandwiches (crust is Roman style) were phenomenal. Better than most places around for sure.
