I see that the owner responded. I live no where near your restaurant. I would welcome a refund but it needs to be over the phone.
Terrible! This was my Mother’s Day lunch and we stopped because we were driving through and I like to support small businesses. Buffet food did not look good or fresh. Some patron was wandering around at the buffet with his shirt fully unbuttoned and his naked belly hanging out over the food. My Cuban sandwich was a slice of deli ham and kraft single not melted. Nothing like the description on the menu. I sent it back and it came back on a bun with a scoop of pulled pork added with nothing else. Dry and salty. All of the fries and tots were raw. BLT had undercooked wiggly bacon and no mayo. The ‘chef’ said he was training but there was no one back there with him cooking. I don’t doubt this was just a bad day and the kids that were running the place were doing their best. Maybe should have just shut down for the day.

Just off the main highway, stopped here on the way north. They offered a lunch buffet that looked good. When the cook heard me say that there was only 1 piece of fried fish left, he made more! Thank you!

Stopped on the way up to Breezy Point. Great staff and the food was very good. It’s definitely worth the stop. We had 8 in our group and no complaints. They even had $1 beers. You can’t complain about anything with that.
It’s a cafe with perfect cafe feel.

Came here for a lunch with my husband. I’m normally a very picky eater but these chicken strips and fries were the best I ever had. My husband had ordered a patty melt and fries. Very cozy place and good food.

We are for the first time. The buffet was good. I wish the eggs didn’t have hunks of onion in it, but besides that I like everything else. And Carmel rolls for dessert was delicious! The price was good, atmosphere was very country/very comfortable. The waitress was very sweet.

Small town diner provides the usual fare of cafe food. Rustic interior displays history memorabilia with limited seating. They do run a buffet in the evenings and a breakfast menu during certain hours. My wife’s chicken noodle soup did not come with the standard home style noodles but with elbow macaroni, chunky carrots and celery, small bits of chicken and plenty of broth. Certainly not mom’s. My Country Fried Steak came piping hot smothered in gravy with a baked potato, coleslaw and a breadstick. Overall texture and taste doable. Servers did a good job. Left with a full belly and that’s what we came for.

Worst service I’ve ever had there. We ordered a food waited over an hour and a half still did not receive her food found out the cook was too busy flirting with the waitress. I asked him if he was gonna do his job and he had a tantrum about it. We had drinks served with dirt in our cops, black stuff, floating in our orange juice and pop will never go back to this restaurant again ended up, leaving in an hour and a half into our sit and wait without even getting served their food.
We had five people only two people that were actually able to eat

Stopped in on a Friday evening. Ordered the buffet because I was in a hurry. The canned green beans were mush, the boxed mashed potatoes had no gravy, fish and shrimp had too much batter, the only thing I found edible where the meatballs and maybe my standards are too high and proper but the spoon they had for the meatballs, only one could be taken out at a time. I skipped the salad bar because at the moment there was no lettuce and maybe it’s the inflation during this administration, but $17.00 for a small selection in a small town restaurant is unacceptable. It might be the only thing that keeps them in business, the one time traffic off of the freeway but this is not a cozy place to eat a home cooked meal at. It is an older building and it shows, the carpet looks like it hasn’t been shampooed in 25 years it gave the place an overall dirty gross vibe. 5 years ago the food was good and the atmosphere could be overlooked but now neither are within reason. This used to be the place I stopped at on the way to the lake house but no more.
