If you aren’t going to have a lot of items on a menu.. you best be sure the ones you have are good…. These burgers are GREAT! Meat is amazing, buns fresh and accompaniments perfect. One of the best smash burgers I’ve eaten. The fries are ok.. but adding the option of bacon bits to them would lift their flavour. Recommend visiting if you’re visiting Pine.

Amazing smashburgers! If you’re craving something salty, cheesy, and mucho delicious then head on over to old country burger. The staff was so friendly, we got to sit outside on a cool overcast evening, food was made with care and came out at a normal time. Best of all the patio is pet friendly! We’re from the valley and I will happily drive back up to Pine when I’m craving burgers! Thank you again for the great service, we’ll be back! ❤️

This was a quick random stop on our scenic route from Flagstaff to Phoenix. Super clean, decor very cute, and quick service. Delicious smash burgers and chili fries. Youngest got a grilled cheese which they enjoyed.

Old County Burger makes quite possibly the most delicious burger I’ve ever had! If you love a good smash burger, this is the place for you. With a simple, In and Out style menu, Old County Burger only has a few menu options, which are a single patty or double patty burger, a grilled cheese, crinkle fries, an ice cream cone and a host of drinks to choose from.
The burgers are smash burgers, served on buttered, grilled buns topped with a burger sauce (Big Mac like spread), grilled onions, and fresh pickles. The combination is insanely tasty!
My wife had a single burger (Nash Burger), I had a double (Big Bob Burger), and we split a side of crinkle fries. We were delighted to find gluten free buns were available for $1 more. It is also definitely worth noting that the burgers are hand made 100% Angus beef and the fries are fresh, and cooked in beef tallow, not seed oil. This makes the food taste fresh, not heavy or greasy.
You have a wide variety of drink options ranging from soda to beer and wine. We choose fresh AZ Lemonade Stand brand flavored lemonade, which comes in a large jar. The lemonade flavors were as good as the food, delicious!
As if the food wasn’t enough, the staff are incredibly friendly and the ordering process super simplified. You walk directly to the counter just a few feet from the door, place your order, then take a seat with a table tent number and wait for your food to come, which happens quickly with a smile. The restaurant is incredibly clean and neatly decorated, making it a comfortable place to dine.
Finally, even in the current days of inflation, Old County Burger is incredibly affordable, with their hand made burgers ranging from $7-9 and fries at just $3 for an order.
While I have reviewed many burger places, this one has taken the top spot. The burgers are incredible, you’ll find yourself eating slowly to savor every bite! If you live in the valley, take a weekend drive up to Pine to have lunch or dinner here, it’s worth it!

We’ve been coming up to Pine for years and years and it’s always good to have another place with good comfort food. Awesome smash burgers and fries. Great atmosphere and the service was outstanding. The only thing that would have made it better for me would have been homemade ranch for the fries. Definitely will come back the next time we are up here.
